Watching from the USA...I really liked this...better than some I have seen on Netflix. Very good acting and plot easy to follow...good captions. Good chemistry between leads. Only one disappointment ....his hair cut! Asians have such beautiful hair...he was wearing it like a ''crew cut,'' in the 1950s in America! :) But he was handsome.

For me the only good thing about this drama is fl fantastic acting skills! Even her expressions were great, ml did well as he was younger than her ,directing good but plot is nothing new or exciting, also chemistry between leads was just ok they seem more like siblings and was not a good pair ,but ok drama.

What's the ml name. I need to see him in a modern drama. Don't judge y'all but his kiss scenes were very great. I didn't say the SA was great. I meant he is a very good kisser. And if it's one thing I know, it's that cdramas tend to have fake kisses, or none at all in them which I don't like. I love romace dramas especially ones where they kiss for real and it's good.
Edit: Nevermind I found him. Gao Mingchen. Turns out that this was his only main lead role. The rest were supprt roles. For it being his first male lead role, he did a phenomenal job. I really want to watch him as a main lead in many more dramas. Also guys he's 7 years older than me (not telling my actual age). I'm just saying a girl can dream, or in my case fantasize 😭😭

frankly the ML was toxic AF and physically abusive, the FL was too much of a pushover. they had a love hate relationship because he hated her for being a traitor but she was his family at the same time.
