Hello dear Lady Sylvia, your brooches and pins are so beautiful! When you show them I think “I would buy that, I definitely would buy that!” I have quite a large brooch and pin collection. Many are very high quality and hallmarked but I also have ones that I collect just because they’re cute or nostalgic or just plain pretty. From the sublime to the ridiculous. My daughter, who isn’t a jewelry freak like me, expressed great interest in my brooch and pin collection. Of course I was very pleased but she said she would like it 100 years from now!!! She and my granddaughter will inherit many beautiful things from my collections. We are just the custodians. Hi Veronica!! Yes, we are but temporary custodians of our treasures. I will give away some of brooch collection as I have no children.
