I’m a freshman in this school, and I thought it was a drill so when the firebell went off we were walking down but people were running back up so me and my best friend ran back up with a few seniors, and wasn’t able to get back to our original class as my friend passed away in the classroom and others were still huddled in the class😪 so I ran into a math room and huddled behind a book case and feared for our life’s I just hop to god my friend is doing ok up there and god bless everyone who was hurt and lost there life 🤦♀️😪

I’m a freshman in this school, and I thought it was a drill so when the firebell went off we were walking down but people were running back up so me and my best friend ran back up with a few seniors, and wasn’t able to get back to our original class as my friend passed away in the classroom and others were still huddled in the class😪 so I ran into a math room and huddled behind a book case and feared for our life’s I just hop to god my friend is doing ok up there and god bless everyone who was hurt and lost there life 🤦♀️😪

Michael White there has been shooting threats at my school, and just in general in northside where I live rn, I can't imagine going through this, I can't imagine loosing bright souls at my school, laughing faces, just gone. Never saw again, only in pictures. Knowing someone suffered and I couldn't do anything to help, right in front of me... Something I could never live with. I don't want there to be a 19 school shooting at,my school. I don't want it to be anywhere. I just want to get an education. I don't want to be scared going to school bc I want to go to school.

What is sad is that we live in a country where children have to have safety drills to be prepared for situations like this. It wasn't always this way and not long ago we didn't have to live in fear of mass shooting in our schools.

As a middle schooler that goes to school in Florida in a semi bad neighborhood this really worries the crap out of me and to see this happen and have our teachers talk about it at our school it honestly is scary. Jj I go to a middle school not even an hour from Stoneman Douglas and multiple times we have been on lockdown because kids have spread rumors they have guns. Those kids ruin everything for us because they spread those rumors getting everyone super worried

This young man has more going on for him and better idea's than half of Congress or the President, during a TV commercial on CNN last night i turned to Fox News and this young man was on the Laura Ingraham show when she made a very crude remark about some of the kids in school that eat lunch at a known spot. This young man calmly corrected her and kept on telling his story while being interrupted by a typical FOX News anchor.. Thank you CNN for letting him talk and God Bless all the kids, staff and responders of this tragic shooting,,
