Ive always liked the first 2 stages the most and tribal maybe the least, I really like fighting in it though but I think a big factor for why its maybe not liked as much is just how tight and slow it is, you befriend all the tribes ahead of time, dupe babies, plan out what your going to do.. and still takes forever granted the slow movement speed and lack of armor buffs. Its just like you always have to have food stolen or deal with the ai as you said or how fast the tribes regen tribe members, just such a big change in gameplay and so slow. Still enjoyable but ya. Loved the video!
I dont know if this is faster but then you get the "Impress/Hunt *creature here*" you can drop the bar down and click on the picture to jump straight to the creature info, I find this easier as I suck at navigating the Sporepedia Also I found a glitch while jumping (with creatures that can), you can grab fruit from afar, takes some practice but I got the hang of it, works best as a herbivore, havent tested as a carnivore with meat
the raging roar its better only for running away and killing them one by one the siren song is good for allying and fighting other creatures (distracting them) the summon flock is really good for killing but sometimes with socializing the creatures summoned will not have all abilities
Y'know there was something that happened in my spore world and I have no idea what happened they were like giving offerings to an epic and no the epic wasn't attacking it was just eating the food and the tribe would just give them more food it was scary and I need answers
@@squidward120 That's so strange! lol What version of Spore are you playing, maybe it was cut in later versions? If you are playing on Steam/Origin that's the latest version.
I think you can make it slightly harder, by making its body maximally fat, to increase its hitbox, and with maximally small mouth, to make its harder to catch food as cell
In tribal stage, if you leave a tribe with only its chieftain and steal all of its food, then they are effectively neutralized forever. Their chieftain will never leave the village to forage for food, and without food they cannot replenish their numbers. But the chieftain needs to survive; if they die the game will give the tribe two free adults as an emergency measure, which will then go and gather food once you leave. Throwing spears are by far the best weapons because you can easily kite enemies and focus-fire them. Tribe members tend to bug out and not do anything in giant fights with stone axes, and flaming torches are not even worth mentioning.
That's really interesting to know about the Chieftain and what spawns those reinforcements, thanks! I might be able to work that in if I do more fighting Tribal Stages!
@@Pihsrosnec That's a pretty risky gamble, and you're always going to lose tribe members in the process. With throwing spears, you can somewhat reliably clear Tribal Stage on Hard with 0 casualties
@@AvengerAtIlipa true, but when you start off with torches it's useful for quickly destroying the first other tride and taking their weapons. plus, my strategy around casualties in spore is usually to be able to afford them rather than being able to avoid them lol

I did it one time, its really fun, try getting all of the blues philisophy Omnivore on cell stage Adaptable on creature Industrial on tribal Economic on civ and trader on space
There is actually some information about it, even on the wiki. Basically, the game will add more time to the timeline upon every death, evolution, mating and just spent time in general. The most important part is to speedrun through the cell stage, since it affects your time in a very big way.
Beast master befriending in tribal to stop threats is actually safer than fireworks. A blue face from performing will never go down unless you provoke them, but from fireworks it will go down after a certain amount of time.
I tried it, yeah using Fireworks only lasts for about 6 minutes on Easy, 3 minutes on Normal, and 1 minute on Hard. I think this is also as long as a gift would keep a tribe from going from yellow neutral to orange relationship as well :)
i have had a glitch where a playable planet spawned outside of any galaxy arms and decided to play on it. i got trough every stage an i thought i was softlocked in space stage when it asked me to visit alien planets, but then the unthinkable happened, the game generated new stars around me for me to go back in to the galaxy's arm. I made a creature similar to this it has the butterfly mouth, is the plain white color, and as small as possible. I called it cell. Also love the video, I never thought about playing spore this way.
Until a few hours ago I thought this was the real worst challenge. However after I made a tiny-sized creature (thank you for the trick btw), I discovered that was extreme pain for Galactic Adventures... so using the worm but tiny-sized is actually worse.
I think that you can successfully impress an enemy team with 9 or 12 members with the worm, you just need to guide an epic over to their base to kill a few or kill a few of them and then do the song when you have the numbers advantage
You can give gifts to members of other tribes directly, even if they're currently on their way to raid you. They'll accept the gift as long as they're not currently in combat, making this a really easy way to stop/intercept a raid.
I absolutely love the saga in civilization stage of your pitiful useless tanks struggling to take one economic city while blue and orange are blobbing out of control and actually playing the game
