I love how the whole concept of this group is basically "eight pretty girls and one tall bearded dude". I really dig their sense of humor, and they nailed the choreo too!

The dude nailed it, he delivered a perfect example of how a man can perform a girly choreography without generating unbearable amounts of cringe.
Yeah without trying to make it manly at all by adding power whenever he can. I just feel like a lot of dudes, even idols, are scared to be compared to girls if they do girl choreographies so they overcompensate and it loos bad in the end
In theory it is quite simple, you just have to do the choreography as it is supposed to be done, without trying to make it more "masculine" or anything like that, the only thing that could be changed is not to try to make feminine expressions, just happy or good vibes.
Trying to make things different, in this case, because you are a man dancing to a song meant for women, is just going to make it a lot more awkward.
But yeah, the guy did a very good job.
There are reasons for that, unfortunaly structually men, specially in kpop, get made fun of doing such things, or are reprimended for doing so, and that amounts to a growing insecurity, saying its cringe is subjective, not saying tour opinion isn't valid, but thera are reasons for these things. Toxic masculinity isn't just an individual problem, it's a set of ideal imposed onto young man by people who are old fachioned and have very problematic ideias about what it means to be a man. It's a bigger issue than some of us realize, and i belive korea has a bit of this mentally from what i've seen, but i can't really comment on a culture i don't fully understand.

we are talking about a man who is doing, by his own choice, the cover of a song originally performed by women, there are many men who, when they, by their own choice, do these covers, end up deciding to make the moves more "masculine", that is most likely because they believe that a "feminine" move will not look good on a male body, but the thing is, if they are not really comfortable doing the moves, why do they perform the song then?
It should be clarified that this does not apply to specific situations where the male dancer doesn't really have the option of not performing the song (as often happens with male idols), this, again, refers more to people who do dance covers for fun.
@@jonix24mejor i understand, i do believe they perform the song because it might be a trend or something, i personally don't feel too much about It, but i completly understand your point, i'll keep your argument in mind for the Future, thanks for engaging in this discussion, i think this topic needs to be talked about more, in a comprehensible way, seems worthwhile.

@@kalpic11 in Sweden it depends on the situation, friends and family hug but not strangers usually. I think he didn't want to make it awkward for tzuyu :)

idk what this is but i absolutely love this so so much! literally realized i'm smiling through the whole thing! honestly, the love in the whole venue could be felt through the screen! not only did the dance group have so much fun with the choreo (love swedish tzuyu haha!) and making it their own, twice loved it too! they looked so happy to have such sweet fans that love and have fun with their music. they all looked so happy dancing together! and the crowd!! omg, the crowd was so much fun, they were so happy, laughing and doing the fan chants. this is one of the reasons why i love twice so much - they bring such happiness and joy to everyone! literally felt like everyone's hearts were one!
