OKAY HI CELLIST HERE I WANNA TALK ABOUT HOPPI’S CREEP COVER jinho is ??? so comfortable in the upper register of his cello ??? i’ve been playing 6 years now and i’m not comfortable in that top range he’s in during creep. he’s above the harmonic, basically in thumb position, but he doesn’t need to be in thumb. i never once see him refer to the a harmonic because he’s just that damn comfortable. it’s actually insane. he just plays up there. like you can’t just blind shift that high. that shouldn’t be humanly possible. but here we are, he does it. he’s batshit, he’s so good and i wanna be that good one day.
the moment day6's "i'll try" clip came up ahhh- srs one of their best b-sides with the harmonies, hearing dowoon's voice, and ofc the song being wonpil's message to his mom... i miss them so much
Xdinary Heroes new album goes hard, but their cover of Drown is *chef’s kiss*… just beautiful. I’m glad they have more than their 4 performances now too. More for us to enjoy!
totally agree with the statement Wonsang is one of the best bassist in K-Band He literally broke all my prejudice about bass His skills is no joke, very versatile players too Also his speeds is beyond your expectations He plays bass like piano 😂

I was at FtIsland, The Rose and Day6 concerts and i tell you that they are much much better live, the energy is insane, definitely one of the best days in my life. Now i wait with hope for N.Flying to come to my country or at least to Europe :)

All of them just blow my mind every time I listen to kbands' music and see their live performances. I have goosebumps. They deserve much attention. I am a big fan of Xdinary heroes (their album is a masterpiece), The Rose and Day6. But I amso impressed by other bands you mentioned in the video. Thank u!
I absolutlely love the emotion Yechan puts into his performances. You can see the pain and everything he's feeling as he plays. He's, like, pouring everything he has into that violin and it makes the performance so powerful. I love how absorbed he is in his music and how he's almost in tears on stage. It's so fucking beautiful to witness.

honestly kbands have my full respect, playin an instrument is so so difficult, and even having a voice that matches the instruments is hard. they're all very talented.
I don't know anything about Lucy(except for what I saw here), but Mr Yechan has my respect. He has transcended to a different level of his craft altogether, one most people won't even be able to comprehend, let alone reach themselves. His music is worship to him and it is a beautiful thing to see and hear🥺 I'm not really into bands(I listen to some of Onewe's songs) but this video is really good, thank you😊
I entered the k-pop world last year by stanning Stray Kids, and there's still so much to discover! I don't even know WHY I didn't listen to k-bands until now while I'm an indie/rock/alternative fan and a deep electric guitar enjoyer, but thank you so much for this video, I'm definitely going to check some of the bands I didn't know about (already knew about Day6, Xdinary Heroes, Rolling Quartz and Onewe - really really love this one). I'm looking forward to your future videos, thank you again for taking your time to make them

I love Day6, ONEWE, and The Rose. I've really enjoyed some songs from several other bands, but those are the ones I feel like I've loved all of their stuff. I was so happy to see you mention these groups towards the end of your video. I absolutely agree that Yonghoon is one of the best vocalists of 4th gen KPop (as far as K-bands are considered KPop, anyways).

Really excited to for other upcoming videos about kbands and their music, it's gonna be so freakin cool. It'll also be a great opportunity to get to know more about older kbands like FTISLAND and CNBLUE (i like some of their songs like "Take Me Now" or "Then, Now and Forever"). And to promote newer kbands as well who also deserve more recognition !!! 1) i agree, the original "Creep" cover that was made on SB1 is even more emotional and outstanding. When i 1st heard it i just couldn't believe my ears, being a huge Radiohead fan this meant so much to me and the performance was simply immaculate. It's a shame that it was taken down from YT (i had the chance to download the audio of this perf when it was still around) 2) For real Wonsang is a true god when it comes to bass... his performances are always so impressive, he's so fast too... i feel like he and Yangjang Semin (The Whales' bassist) are the most talented bassists in kbands right now 3) Kardi is such a unique and interesting band for sure ! Yeji's vocals and passion on stage + Dawool's musical talent with his geomungo make their performances very distinct and memorable... it's was so great that they got the opportunity to perform on such a big event after SB2 ! 4) Definitely my fave cover from Xdinary Heroes... it was precisely the moment when i thought "these kids truly have big potential" 5) Kanghyun is easily one of the best guitarist among all kbands ! His incredible guitar solos are always something we can look forward to in Onewe's songs 6) honestly i'm not that much into N'Flying but everyone has to admit that they're true kings when it comes to live performances on stage ! They're so energetic ! 7) This cover from LUCY is one of the 1st videos i saw of them when i was just getting into them in summer 2020... have been totally hooked since then, they're my favourite kband and 2nd fave musical act of all time after Radiohead 8) Rolling Quartz is such a great band too... this cover was legendary ! Feels like many of us fell totally head over heels for these talented and beautiful ladies ! 9) Fantastic selection here too... nothing but great vocals and equally great instrumentation from all these bands 10) only pure facts... not only is Yonghoon an amazing singer who should be given more recognition, but saddly this is the truth for a lot of bands... kbands vocalists in general are doing an absolutely outstanding job, with most of them singing AND playing instruments 11) Xdinary Heroes really impressed me with this mini album. Didn't really know what to expect at first, then i thought they would make a rather nice album but not really something original... however they completely exceeded my expectations by presenting very interesting songs (in terms of composition, instrumentation, vocal power and chromatism). Now i'm positive they can become another legendary band like their seniors DAY6 if they keep up with the good work ! 12) Yechan's performances are always so marvellous ! Love how he can act funny on stage with his little dance moves to suit more upbeat and joyful song, but also how he can portray so much emotion both through his playing and facial expressions when needed ! You can tell that he's a very sensible guy, as he also showed it in his song "Dream" on LUCY's BLUE album.... love that song so much 13) "Your Ocean", best song from 2021, periodt. Actually that might be one of the most beautiful and touching songs ever made. The lyrics are just incredible. So well-written. It still moves me to tears some times when i listen to it....

Thank u so much for this beautiful compilation! And about vocals, I do believe that the best kvocals that we have aren't in kpop but in kbands (but I know that's not a very popular opinion...). For me the most heartbreaking thing is that these bands are putting so much hardworking, passion, and creative in their work but they're hella underrated and not even hits are the key for success. N. Flying for me is an example of a band that had a hit but unfortunately the public didn't hype their work as I was expecting. Seems that outside Day6 none of these kbands are famous and this is so sad :(
Kbands remaining horribly underrated (same goes for fnc bands). I think bands like jannabi busker busker standing egg have a lot of general public love. General public and fandom culture are seriously fascinatingly different types of love. I enjoy seeing appreciation in its varied forms!

sometimes, k-bands scare me, like they legitimately make me feel like "no way. is this possible?" because HOW, just HOW can they express so much to so many through so many instruments, all forming this one absolutely wonderful melodious song like its-- LOOK THEIR LEVEL OF TALENT AND EXECUTION IS GENUINELY TERRIFYING OKAY
would love to see more of my top faves: Ft Island, The Rose, CNEMA, The FIX it's unfortunate that Superband videos get blocked so much, cuz there's a huge number of those performances I would definitely include...Hong Isaac's voice in some of those stages lives rent free in my head hahaha

man as much as I love lucy I just get really sad every time I think about the fact that I now won't ever get to see Ganeung-dong Band busking again...they were my favorite busking band and I believe I saw them once briefly in korea but now that yechan is in lucy it's just not the same anymore...
Okay i wanna say that apart from Lucy i didn't know anyone else in this video and seeing this has made me realize that i've been missing a huge part of kpop that i didn't even know existed just because i had been stanning the most popular groups and completely turning a blind eye to less recognized idols. Well that’s exactly the problem…. You’ve been into kpop. Lots of these bands are not considered kpop. But rock, indie, alternative etc Kbands are greatly under appreciated in the Korean music industry!!

When i 1st heard it i just couldn't believe my ears, being a huge Radiohead fan this meant so much to me and the performance was simply immaculate. It's a shame that it was taken down from YT (i had the chance to download the audio of this perf when it was still around)
2) For real Wonsang is a true god when it comes to bass... his performances are always so impressive, he's so fast too... i feel like he and Yangjang Semin (The Whales' bassist) are the most talented bassists in kbands right now
3) Kardi is such a unique and interesting band for sure ! Yeji's vocals and passion on stage + Dawool's musical talent with his geomungo make their performances very distinct and memorable... it's was so great that they got the opportunity to perform on such a big event after SB2 !
4) Definitely my fave cover from Xdinary Heroes... it was precisely the moment when i thought "these kids truly have big potential"
5) Kanghyun is easily one of the best guitarist among all kbands ! His incredible guitar solos are always something we can look forward to in Onewe's songs
6) honestly i'm not that much into N'Flying but everyone has to admit that they're true kings when it comes to live performances on stage ! They're so energetic !
7) This cover from LUCY is one of the 1st videos i saw of them when i was just getting into them in summer 2020... have been totally hooked since then, they're my favourite kband and 2nd fave musical act of all time after Radiohead
8) Rolling Quartz is such a great band too... this cover was legendary ! Feels like many of us fell totally head over heels for these talented and beautiful ladies !
9) Fantastic selection here too... nothing but great vocals and equally great instrumentation from all these bands
10) only pure facts... not only is Yonghoon an amazing singer who should be given more recognition, but saddly this is the truth for a lot of bands... kbands vocalists in general are doing an absolutely outstanding job, with most of them singing AND playing instruments
11) Xdinary Heroes really impressed me with this mini album. Didn't really know what to expect at first, then i thought they would make a rather nice album but not really something original... however they completely exceeded my expectations by presenting very interesting songs (in terms of composition, instrumentation, vocal power and chromatism). Now i'm positive they can become another legendary band like their seniors DAY6 if they keep up with the good work !
12) Yechan's performances are always so marvellous ! Love how he can act funny on stage with his little dance moves to suit more upbeat and joyful song, but also how he can portray so much emotion both through his playing and facial expressions when needed ! You can tell that he's a very sensible guy, as he also showed it in his song "Dream" on LUCY's BLUE album.... love that song so much
13) "Your Ocean", best song from 2021, periodt. Actually that might be one of the most beautiful and touching songs ever made. The lyrics are just incredible. So well-written. It still moves me to tears some times when i listen to it....

Thank u so much for this beautiful compilation! And about vocals, I do believe that the best kvocals that we have aren't in kpop but in kbands (but I know that's not a very popular opinion...). For me the most heartbreaking thing is that these bands are putting so much hardworking, passion, and creative in their work but they're hella underrated and not even hits are the key for success. N. Flying for me is an example of a band that had a hit but unfortunately the public didn't hype their work as I was expecting. Seems that outside Day6 none of these kbands are famous and this is so sad :(
Kbands remaining horribly underrated (same goes for fnc bands). I think bands like jannabi busker busker standing egg have a lot of general public love. General public and fandom culture are seriously fascinatingly different types of love. I enjoy seeing appreciation in its varied forms!

Okay i wanna say that apart from Lucy i didn't know anyone else in this video and seeing this has made me realize that i've been missing a huge part of kpop that i didn't even know existed just because i had been stanning the most popular groups and completely turning a blind eye to less recognized idols. ah yes, going back to the video i watched that soft launched me in my kband era (°ー°〃) when i first watched this day6 was the only kband i really followed and actively listened to, now there's so many kband albums i had the pleasure of experiencing and so many more i havent listened to yet. seriously, the kband world is a gem.
