I wish Breer would say "like" a few more times.

It’s even weirder because Watt would have broken his record anyway. Mark is mad about losing his record for like 10 years. Still wouldn’t be his now, either way.

This subject somehow expands my respect for baseball players. I'm old enough to remember Hank Aaron breaking the all time homerun record. There wasn't a pitcher in baseball that wanted to be the guy to surrender it. I doubt that has changed even in today's world. Imagine Nolan Ryan throwing a lollipop to Any hitter Under ANY circumstances. Ain't gonna happen 😅.

Yes. I learn something that I didn't know every single time I watch Albert Breer.

Good NBA reference. Shortly after the kiss, we seen Larry and Magic talk publicly about how they lived to beat each other, then became friends. A great story everyone enjoyed. Seems the entire sports world fell in step.... Except baseball pitchers. 😂. Chin music is still alive and well in baseball

Love Albert's insights, but like many of his generation, everything is: "like" "like" "like" "you know" "you know" you know"

I read up on Gastineau and it sounds like he knows a few things about taking a fall

Re: laying down and letting someone win a record. I wouldn’t do it because I wouldn’t wanna be the infamous one in the history books that got beat *for* the record.

If Sam Darnold can take the Vikings on a deep playoff run and/or Super Bowl appearance; the Front Office would be wise in giving him a Baker Mayfield type money deal...
Then I would immediately resign Daniel Jones as Sam backup and then trade J.J. McCarthy to the most QB thirsty team headed into the '25 Draft. I believe a team like the Raiders or Giants would easily give up their 2025 First Round pick for J.J. as opposed to taking a flyer on drafting Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward.
The '25 QB draft class is highly suspect. Sanders and Ward are the favorites to go in the top 5 of the 1st round after them. The QB value is questionable...and it should be. Shedeur and Cam are the only QBs who I believe performed in a way, this college season, that would make an NFL Gm feel pretty good about drafting in Round1. After that, the fall off is steep

We are way past bitching about records, the nba has mucked up a lot with no defense, let your buddy hoist away.. someone will get close to 100 soon..
the nfl records will be demolished, when guys like matt ryan are on the cusp, it’s an embarrassment

It's so easy for us to say that Gastineau needs to move on. Obviously he researched the potential benefits of The Sack Record" and feels like he's due. On the other hand, Michael Strahan just interviewed Angelina Jolie for ABC News. Strahan's interview definitely wasn't because of a record, it's because he worked hard and made use of his amazing football career.
