I'm newer to coin collecting and I have a 1976 penny with the most ridiculous error on it's heads and tails side in amazing condition, and a 1992 close am with a stamp error as well. I went through 10 years worth of saved change with a jeweler's loop and honestly made lots of awesome finds.

Another good transitional error that most pple don't know about is the 1943 nickel. Where they had steel planchets for penny's that year, apparently some of those steel sheets made some nickels. Easy to check for because all u need is a magnet 🧲. I've searched litteraly thousands upon thousands of 1983 penny's for a copper one, still hope to find one those one day. But yeh, transitional errors are in the cool niché almost with mules and multiple denomination errors. Easier to find pre 64' nickels becouse the majority never had any silver in them. Coins will kill ya eyes an wear ya out lookn, but when you find a special one it's like finding buried treasure I'd imagine, or catching a 15lb+ fish.. gets your spidey senses tingling all over

My father ran a “mom & pop” grocery store after WW II. When they closed the cash register everyday mom would always go through all the coins. Needless to say I have found some real gems and I know they are quite valuable. How do you get coins like that assessed accurately and where or if you do have a very valuable find how do you find an auction house or reputable coin dealer that will help you sell them? I’m a novice but I don’t want to get scammed. Thanks for any tips you have to offer…

I have a question about the Sacajewea dollars. I saw another coin error video just recently that stated that the Presidential dollars have lettering on the edges, and the Sacajewea dollars do not. I have a 2010 P Saca dollar that has the lettering on the edge. Is this an error or did they really have lettering on the coins for that year and mint mark. Just wanted to know if I have a valuable coin or not. Thanks. I really enjoy your channel and have learned a lot about looking for coin errors and possibly making some money in the process.

I’ve noticed that in “The official red book” that it lists “s” minted pennies from 1975-present as normal (low but normal) mint but in my portfolio books it doesn’t list them at all. Is that because the San Francisco minted pennies were meant to be proofs?

How can I contact you? I'm sure you get bombarded with questions. And dang do I have a few. But for now, I have a question about a 73 D Penny, can see a punch through with the back of Lincolns head..and a $100 bill that has some punch through as well

You didn’t explain the spacing thing in the first example. The second example was def more noticeable but the first one, in comparison to a regular penny, is the spacing bigger or smaller than a regular penny?
Edit: I know FOR A FACT I had a 1944 penny. My grandfather was an antique dealer who, even tho I was young, instilled many of these tips to me. I remember finding it because I told him I found a silver penny lol he explained the year thing to me, put it in a paper and plastic clasp that adhered to its self sealing the contents and said to hold onto it. Mind you this was prob 1998-2001 time but I thoroughly remember that penny! Sweet baby Jesus I need to find it. Unfortunately he passed away in 2003 when I was in middle school. I wasn’t into coins then but have picked it up recently. I was a bartender/waiter for over a decade and it fascinates me the amount of valuable bills and coins I probably held and overlooked. I don’t obsess over them now but it’s def become a habit of scanning my change and bills in daily life. Have a small collection now mainly of pennies and need to spend some time going thru them

I think I have an unusual penny. It's damaged, I think, from the stamping.
How would I be able to show you?

You should seriously consider sitting down and spending the cold season looking at those coins.
Don't give them to the bank.
