- Hey guys! We’re Jimmy & Natalie, and we’re really excited to share our journey with you as we work on converting our new short bus into our very own tiny home on wheels!
Our bus is a 1997 Thomas International Short Bus. We have some big plans for completing the build, and for traveling in it as soon as it’s ready.

For future reference, cutting plastics works really well on a table saw with a plywood blade installed backwards. You guys are awesome!

I'm so glad I was directed to y'alls (yea I'm from Texas 😉) videos. It is so wonderful seeing the progression of your build. I'm as proud of you as you are proud of yourselves. I don't know how much building knowledge either of you had prior, but "YOU DID THAT". You both have made me, at least visually, feel as if I can tackle something like this myself. @@JimmyandNatalie Hi guys! Well, I'm 65 years old and starting to retire. 😊 I bought a 19 year old Provost tour buss from North Carolina. It's getting repainted and I will fly down from the suburbs of Chicago in June to pick it up. 🙏I'm hoping to permanently live in it some day! No big rush! I'm old! 🤦♀️It's so much fun watching you guys do this at such a young age! I hope we can meet up in a year or so! That would be cool! Have fun! Joe. 🤗

Yo I crank my head on that back door low ceiling so much its not even funny 🤣🤣🤣
Hey again. One critique for the bed frame. Rather than create a frame the way you did, it would be stronger to frame two half sized walls, and then build wood on TOP of the walls to hold the mattress, this way you wouldn't need supports under the bed in the middle getting in the way of storage. Would be a stronger support.

Thanks! We are torn whether to put drawers or doors that would lead to a small closet for hanging clothes... 🤷♂️🤷♀️

Looks really great! The trim around the fans really finish off the ceiling nice! I’m excited to see how you set up the compost toilet/shower combo. Did you have a custom shower pan made to fit the space? Hope you’re having a wonderful week!
Thanks! We hope you've having a wonderful week too! ❤️ We are really happy about how the fan covers brought the whole ceiling together. It really was a nice finishing touch! We're still working out the details for how the shower pan will work... We made it tough on ourselves by making such a strange shape, but I'm sure we can figure something out! 😄
