I'm 29 working as mechanic only 3 month. I liked so far. In my opinion you definitely should become mechanic if you enjoy this work. It is basically goes for any profession try to work on something you enjoy and passionate about

I agree with you %100 on everything you said. As a young mechanic myself I’ve had people come to me to fix their vehicle and they think it’s smart to try and take advantage of me and say “ ever since you did this my car started doing this”. For example I did this guy’s f150 front cv axle and a day later he came back demanding me to fix the squeaking noise coming from the opposite side get this, his brake rotor was grinding metal on metal with the pad. And so I told him what it was and he left all pissed and cursed me out saying I’m a crooked mechanic 🫠
I've had similar situations lol. Part of the business man.
