One of the greatest musicians of all time, love you David Gilmour, I've listen to your music for more than 50 years, don't look back just keep on making music, wishing you the best
Truly one of the best guitarists and musicians I've ever heard and been blessed to have seen a number of times. My health will prevent me from attending any more concerts. However I have been truly blessed. Thank Pink Floyd and David Gilmour😊
It’s amazing how with each successive tour version of this song, he seems to find even more new guttural sounds in those opening and closing solos! Can’t wait to hear this live! TH-cam can’t come close!
Right you have to be THERE.TH-cam VIDEO,S ARE GREAT FOR THE FAN,S WHO COULDN,T MAKE IT.but ive been there live.it,s very different surrounded by likewise fan,s.To hear dave bringing it.Scouse floyd fan for ever.

Well said. If Gilmour had involved a percussionist to his band for his last two tours, these songs, especially Sorrow would have sounded a lot better. But still nice.
That,s my birthday wish i was seeing dave live again 88 dockland,s arena and kneworth 90.But i will be seeing deep purple for the first time on 9th november my birthday treat to myself.Definately gonna beat the sock,s and lynx shower gel.But still wish it was my hero david gilmour.Maybe in another life.
I saw them both in the same year in 2006. David at the Royal Albert Hall, Roger in Hyde Park. In fairness to Roger, he was more engaging with the crowd than David used to be and it was a damn entertaining gig except when he kept on prattling on about the middle east... but Gilmour at the Royal Albert Hall is just something else, bordering on a religious experience with Manzanera, Rick Wright, Mica Paris and David Crosby and Graham Nash there as well. That was just f**king immense..
I saw his last show in 2016 and thought it was the last one, and I cried my eyes out by CN. I think I will cry the whole show this time of pure delight. ❤
I simply don't understand how he does it!! After all these years!! Unbelievable!! Magnificent performances!! I have a deep wish that he will come to Norway 🇳🇴 once again!!!
@@juuso2248 It's not cheap, I'm in the North East of England and the cost of tickets, travel and hotel alone has already hit £800 without food and drink or looking at merchandise, I wouldn't shell out that money for anyone else though.
@kehuaqu4905 there is alot better versions then Pulse. Look up some 94 bootlegs especially the European tour part. He litterly had some otherworldly solos.
Have tickets for November 6th in New York. Coming from Eastern Canada and am really looking forward to it. This will most likely be the last time he tours North America. I saw pink Floyd's last tour in 1994 in Toronto. They did 3 nights and we were at the 1st and last night. Never got the chance to see him solo, so no way will we miss this chance Never been to NYC before so where better then Madison Square Guardens. EPIC!
Thanks! I used a Shure Mv88, pretty cheap, small secondhand mic, I set the angle to about 100 degrees and gain to around 10-12, was just winging it but it came out fairly close to reality. Can’t recommend it enough. Hope you enjoy your shows.
Yes. IT’s everything. Lights sound production waltz an all mistakes an workin out kinks like timing bcs it’s basically a new family apart from Guy Pratt alll learning to play together. This is increadibly brave thing to do! Normally done in closed spaces for a month or two before goin on the rd. ❤❤❤🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧💎💎🥃🥃
this version is absolutely amazing!!!

Seeing him Hollywood Bowl Oct 30 and 31st
The Grandmaster, nearing 80
How lucky we are to exist at the same time🙏
Imagine what he'll do with the Bowl dome! How are they going to light that??
Same on the 31 vip
Everything David touches is being converted to gold (again!) ❤
After so many years, he still makes that Strat sing like nobody else can.
Ever.

It was pretty improvised in the earliest 1987 tour gigs in Canada as well. The 2015/16 and 24 versions sounds a lot like them.

I'm very happy to hear Sorrow is in the setlist! Can't wait to see him in NY.
Wonderful to see David Playing again !! 😍🥰💚💛
This song never gets old.
every year it gets a year older.
This song--the lyrics, the mournful guitar--continues to pull on my heartstrings and bring tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing.

The guy who made me pick a guitar up.
Amazing
Me too.
Que bueno es ver a David de vuelta a los escenarios masivos. TREMENDO!!
Gracias por compartir.
Wow, that was an incredible performance of this song
I will always miss Gary Wallis whenever someone plays Sorrow.

Simplesmente o melhor ,que venha para o Brasil esse ano
Simplement sublime . Tout ce qui se trouve dans la Vallée n'a pas d'âges .
Oh myyyy god 😮 Sorrow🤯😮😍😍😍😍

Holy shit I saw Roger Waters live but seeing David must be mind blowing

Que David siga tocando. Simplemente hermoso ❤
Absolutely insane. Can’t wait for Circus Massimo 2nd Oct 👌🏽
Red strat is the right one for Sorrow
So im not the only one who misses it...
That guitar had active EMGs, which is why it’s better suited for this particular song
Ain’t it????? From mark knopfler, Daryl stuermer, to hank Marvin and David gilmour, the red guitars are shining bright with such legends.
Como sonaba este tema con la red strat. Igual con la black también suena genial. Tiembla todo
This song just has probably my favorite tone I've ever heard a guitar make.
I saw his last show in 2016 and thought it was the last one, and I cried my eyes out by CN. I think I will cry the whole show this time of pure delight. ❤
Espectacular maestro!!!! La rompiste toda con Sorrow. Traelo a Argentina pof dios te lo pido

Thank you for these videos.
One of my favourites, and loving this version, especially the end solo.
Strange thing to say but Sorrow has aged much better than I thought it would.
It's an amazing song that imo was at its best on the 94 tour.
@@walds2922must be pulse
@@walds2922 Yeah, I was there as well. RFK Staduim Wash DC. Sorrow plus the scanning lasers!!! Mindblowing!

That whole album has to be honest. There’s some crummy synth sounds on there but apart from that it was a strong album
So excited to see him at MSG!!!
Me at Hollywood Bowl .. going to be something
Amazing, still gives me goosebumps, as on Delicate Sound and Pulse. What a legend
27/09/2024, Circus Maximus, Rome. I'll be there!
ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moi aussi❤❤❤

I feel sorrow for you :P
IMHO this is the best song DG has ever written - and in this case I believe the lyrics are his. His best guitar work too, never mind Boringly Numb.
@@davidmantripp yeah his best lyrics imo.
*That's a matter of opinion... Which you are completely entitled to*
My favourite live Floyd track!

Im in love with Romany.
Uff sorrow
👍🎸🤟
Ho visto che c'è Romany ❤️
Aged? For me it’s timeless….like his talent.
Whats with the phone bell from"The Wall" doing ruining the intro? That is comical! Is Waters hiding trying to sabotage?
is that a rehearsal with audience,,,_
Yeah 20th and 21st in Brighton at 30 pounds ticket price only
I think I read you had to buy the album as well as the incredibly cheap ticket price@@souhityogupta7704

David日本にもこないかねぇ
Has Romany joined the back up singers full time in this tour?
Dave said no cause she is buzy with the University.
Unlike the 80s and 90s tours, this sounds like a band just jamming. Dave really brought some great people out with him.
Did somebody open the fire exit door?
Maybe Roger? 🤭
set list please? marroned?
Tempo is a little upright, static and unflinching, it should have some rubberiness. Dave sounds amazing.
On the PULSE tour I believe they had a second percussionist which was awesome
Tha!are they really going to Rome@the end of October?
