I like you have a beard, but I am quick to point out it’s not correct for the time Rag tinder, char cloth, is well known from the time. Though punk might be more traditional Put on your neck scarf. Even in hot weather. It was well known that a bare neck would give you a cold. That’s one great looking very authentic style camp. Copper itself is not toxic as long as the insides are clean, and you don’t cook acidic food in them, but for safety sake all my copper is tinned. The cast iron is heavy, so I try to stay away from that, unless I’m making a big camp dish. There is so much on knifes at the time as to be ridiculous and a doubt anyone has a truely historic knife, I know I can’t give you any advice on knifes and I’m sure none of mine pass muster, but we do what we can Forks were rare eating utensils until after the civil war, spoons and knife and good old Gods forks…fingers were more common Loved your vid, as said none of this was critical of your camp.👍
