Thanks so much. The Lord has been so good to me over the years. After 50 years of hard digging I am just thankful to still be able to sling dirt and get down in those deep holes.
Nice finds, Dave! Always enjoy watching your digs.... especially when you find jugs! Looking forward to seeing what's next. Take care, be safe and God bless you and your family!
I wonder how many jugs weve dug from that Jug Dump? I've never tried to count, but we average more than 2 every dig so it would be well over 100 I'm sure
I always get nervous when you’re digging alone and you stop moving or talking. Then you just listen to the sounds of dirt and rocks above you as they trickle down. That’s some scary stuff to hear when you get to be my age. Well, you got some cool things. Love the jugs no matter the cracks and dings they have on them. I like to think of the Mothers from 100 years ago, cooking for her family. We have it so easy today. Thanks for sharing your dig Dave! Take care and tell Shelley hello for me.
Hi Angela...always so nice to hear from you. How have you been? We are always praying for you sister. I try to be careful when I'm digging by myself as you never know what might happen. The Lord is so good and gives us wisdom if we listen. Shelley says HOWDY....let us know what kind of things you may be needing and we can send you a box ful...drop me a message at digrdaveb@aol.com
Thanks so much. Thankfully, I was able to repair the backhoe enough to keep it running awhile longer. We would be in trouble without it...we are getting spoiled...haha. 😀
Hey Ralph...so nice to hear from you my friend! Thanks for buying that sauce bottle from me. I just love those fancy shaped food bottles too. Wait til we turn em amethyst....then they will really look nice sitting in a window!
Hello...the privy locations will vary widely depending on where you live. In the rural areas, they could be virtually anywhere in the back yard. In the town or city where there are layed out lots they usually put the outhouse far away from the house....I usually start probing along the back of the lot and along the lot lines. Depth will vary also....rural and towns in my area, they are usually 6-8ft. Larger cities along the rivers they can be 20 ft deep....Ohio River cities 30 feet.
Great video. You need to charge people to come dig a bottle in the jug dump for twenty to forty bucks. Or let me dig for free to say I dug a bottle. But I am handicapped. So I can't.
Same with me. I’m disabled also. So I sit in my recliner and I either root them on or I yell that they’re missing a bottle. Lol. They never listen to me.
Hello my friend...we would love to have you come dig with us. None of us know whether we will be healthy enough to dig tomorrow or next week? Please let me know if you think you could come and we would help you dig....that backhoe can do the "heavy lifting"...you could just be on the edge of the backdirt pile and help scratch the bottles out...digrdaveb@aol.com
Wonderful wrap up Dave, I have never seen a milk glass bitters. Those cicadas are madening. Take care👍👏😀
Fun dig Dave, always great to see you in good health!

A great dig, all in all! I love hearing the Cicadas!
I was just happy to get to dig anything that day since my main goal was to repair the backhoe. Yea, those little cicadas are really loud.
