I traveled like a vagabond for 8 months all the south and all over France, next will be Germany. Tbh, traveling and getting to new place was liberating to me my anxiety and social anxiety was gone. That feeling when u arrive in a new city is so addictive, u feel new. It’s not safe of a lifestyle though, big cities are a bit dangerous. If you want to do a travel challenge I’m here 😄
Good stuff mate! You can also do something similar in Amsterdam - just outside the tourist trap areas where everyone gets ripped off and then complains. In fact even around the tourist trap areas there are places known to all Dutchies where no tourists set foot, where you can get a breakfast for 2 Euros (Hema). A delicious proper Italian (not American crap) pizza in the suburbs is 4 Euros, in the tourist shops you pay that for a slice of yesterday's pizza, microwaved lol. Also loads of Turkish bakers selling Borek for a Euro, or Lahmacun (Turkish wrap with spicy lamb and salad filling) for 2 Euros.
Hey! I traveled 8 months like a vagabond and met a wonderful Dutch guy, what city are u referring to? Never been to Netherlands it would be cool to go see my Dutch friend and I have 500 a month only the food u talk about seem very good!!
@@bucksorel6805 I'm referring to Amsterdam itself! Anywhere outside the canal belt, where all the tourists are. Even inside it there are places they walk by unaware of where you can get a breakfast for 2 Euros for example. But it's advertised in Dutch not English so it flies under the tourist radar. If you have 500 (Euros) a month and you need to pay for accommodation you can't really do that in Amsterdam or even the rest of the Netherlands, of course if you stay with your friend it's a different story.
I traveled like a vagabond for 8 months all the south and all over France, tent is so cool I was happy to sleep in tent sometimes 😅. Wish I could travel with him! I came back one month ago unfortunate i could not be with him I know lot of cool place in Paris and know lot of cheap and good kebab lol
Honestly there are cheap thing like 5e for a big gyros kebab in notre dame district and others stuff like that for food, but yeah it’s so expensive to live in, sometimes grocery cost double the normal price
