    THUMBS UP if you enjoy the laid back and scenic trails too. It's not always about hitting the craziest sections of trail. Most rides are made up of a mix of terrain types and difficulties. When you are riding the Hatfield and McCoy trail system there is a lot of filler in between the technical and difficult double black trails. In many cases it's just as enjoyable as the hard stuff, just in a different way. The truth is, most the beautiful and scenic sections aren't on the super hard trails. If you and your riding group want to capture those stunning photos and enjoy the scenic outlooks then you will enjoy the easier difficulty trails too because that's where you find most of the great photo opportunities. Remember to enjoy the entire experience while you are out exploring the trails. Sometimes the group shot on the mountain top can be more memorable in the years to come then the broken axles and roll overs. We all have different goals and expectations out of our rides. It's not just about carnage and full sends. I know these days the insane climbs and destruction seem to get the most attention and views but in reality it's not about that for most of us. It's not our goal to go out and wreck our machines and spend the rest of the day fixing them, sometimes that happens but we don't go out looking for it. I feel most people here can relate to that. Ride safe out there everyone and most of all, have fun!

      Thoroughly enjoy the variety of trail types! It's definitely nice to just cruise along more smoothly in between the intense, technical stuff! Loved this trip and am so happy to have met all of you and proud to have been accepted as a member of team AJP!! Love you guys so much, and look forward to future rides/trips with the group!!😊

    Thanks for checking out the video! This one is pretty laid back. It's a real time edit. Just a raw cut of what you see is what you get. It's an uncut front and rear view of Bearwallow Trail 50. This was a section of trail we travelled down to get to our next technical double black trail. We are on our way to Bearwallow trail 71 where we hit another awesome section of trail. The next video will be of the adventure down trail 71 and it was a really awesome section of trail, probably one of my favorite sections of trail from our entire trip. Stay tuned because the next episode is a fun one. I'm hoping I can get the edit finished up today so I can have it uploaded for tomorrow! See ya in the next video.

      Glad you enjoyed the video Cody! Ya, the drop offs in some areas are insane, you can literally look down the side of the mountain just like 2 feet or less from the edge of the trail.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They freak me out too, some corners are insane. If you miss the corner you literally drive off a mountain into a vertical drop for hundreds of feet. If that doesn't worry you a bit then you need rethink your approach, lol!! The harsh reality is that there are memorial plaques and signs in a ton of those areas on the trails. Memorials put up for people who ended their days in a way none of would ever wish on anyone. The trails do need to be respected and taken seriously. It's no joke.

    As much as I love the intense stuff you guys ride, this trail looks like something I would love to ride. I admittedly am one who doesn’t beat my machine. Not that there is any thing wrong. I just can’t afford it and not my style. Love the ability to check out all these trails. Thanks for the vids

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man, I think most of us fall into a similar category. I enjoy beating on my rig but it comes with a cost. The biggest cost for me isn't always the money it's the time. I don't have a ton of time these days to wrench on my machine. I rather ride it. There are some channels out there that are full send 100% of the time and watching the action is badass. I'll be the first one to admit I'd likely struggle keeping up with some of them. I'd love to try but it's not something I want to do each ride. I love variety. I'm not scared to push the machine or break it, I just don't go out on every ride with that mindset. Sometimes I just wanna cruise and take it easy. Depends on the day and what mood I'm in.

      That’s great to hear Shane. We are the same, sometimes we go out Lookin for carnage and other days we just want to go on a chill ride. That’s what’s cool about the trails here in WV. There is a mix of everything. Taking the kids out is awesome and the goal is for everyone to have a fun time. Just being out with your family is awesome. I’d never risk wrecking my machine doing silly stuff with children in the back. Everyone is out for a different reason but everyone is out because they have the same passion for off-roading. We bust chops all the time about people not trying things or not pushing hard enough but I think most people realize it’s just for fun. It’s how we push eachothers buttons as friends. We are a sarcastic group and we like to bust chops.

    Lol. I totally get that. I’m the leader most of the time and get soo many bugs and spiders in my rig. Now a lot of the time when I get to a really tight wooded trail I send someone else in first and tell them to wait at the turns for me to direct them. Gotta share the spiders. Lol

    Glad you have an awesome Navigator, I try to get my wife to help me but she’s not great with maps and directions. There has been a few occasions where she was right and I was wrong but that doesn’t happen to often.
    I won’t run and windshield in the summer, it’s just too hot. I just got the Pro R this past summer and the cab heat is definitely worse than the pro xp. Besides I love the cool breeze and fresh air hitting us.
    When we go to Hatfield I normally lead our group. I run about 20mph to 25mph….I don’t feel it’s too fast nor too slow. When it’s a blind turn or I can’t see very far in front of me then I back it way way down. Also the terrain of the trail depends as well. Some of those trails with the whoops and banked turns are so dam fun with a little bit of speed.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh man, the trails are a blast when you go faster for sure. I agree, there are sections you can safely lay into it pretty good and some you need to be more reserved. The suspension on your new Pro R must feel amazing! They are suck badass machines, I'm sure you're loving it. I can't believe it's got more cabin heat then the Pro XP. I figured they would have addressed that. It's an issue with all the machines though, especially with those huge radiators in front. It blows all the hear in towards the cab. I'm lucky I've got a good navigator for sure. It really helps cause I never pay enough attention to where I'm goin, especially when I'm filming and have a million things on my mind with the camera gear and stuff.

      Chad, as you know I love it too. The house idea is awesome and the climate is great. You can find some very nicely priced real estate there. However, at the same time you can also explore more of the state if you just rent a place for a few weeks at a time. Prices are reasonable if you don't mind being further from the trails.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man! No one really "wants" to break anything, lol. The goal is to ride the way you want to. It's about having a good time and that means different things to different people. Over the last few seasons I have found myself putting more value on scenic trails and beautiful views. I enjoy the outdoors and the wonderful places SXS's can take us. I'm actually working on planning a trip or two in the future where the focus is primarily scenery and wilderness. I think that if you like the tourist aspect of the adventures then you should try to visit a few of the town like Matewan for example. It's an awesome place to see. Check out the Hatfield and McCoy cemetery and a few of the other associated sites. Check out a bunch of the scenic outlooks they have marked on the trail maps. When on the road in those areas pay attention to the rocks and mountains the roads cut through and you will notice many of them have trails leading to the top where you can experience some stunning views. Most of all, interact with the locals. Talk to people in town, at the gas stations, in restaurant's and ask them what they recommend you see. If you see some older citizens, ask them about landmarks and the history of the areas. They love sharing stories and we have learned a lot talking to them over various trips. Consider booking a guided scenic trail ride tour one of the days. Lots to do, you won't have enough time to do a fraction of what there is to offer. Hope that helps!! Next time we visit I want to set an entire day aside to just focus on scenery and exploring the local towns.

I enjoy making the long videos and will save that approach for specific rides. The shorter edits are definitely more manageable for me too. I have to admit. We were going pretty damn fast in some sections so what I was getting at was that the people calling us out on some of it weren’t necessarily out of line. Nothing happened, no one was hurt but I see their point too because I’ve heard of there being some accidents in the past related to similar things. I agree there are plenty of areas you can hammer down pretty safely. Trust me, I’m not apologizing to the Karen’s, more or less a acknowledging that we all have a lapse of judgment here and there and just need to remember to be respectful of others on the trails.

    Honestly, as a regular H&M trail rider, don't apologize for ripping it in the past! Instead of "calling you out" from your previous videos, people should have just mentioned the need for caution in some circumstances. There are many situations on the trails there where you can see the trail winding around and have a very good view of what is coming towards you. In those situations, turn it into your own rally course and have fun! It's all about common sense.........do you slide 50 mph around a blind corner? No. Can you foxtrot tango sections where you have good visibility? Absolutely.
