Whatever said in this video is absolutely true, we brought flowerhorn paying hefty money just for their good colours but mostly we get a fading or internal deformity fish atlast. I stopped buying expensive flowerhorns now just because of this issue.

Mostly in flowerhorn the faded gene came from midas or red devil cichlids.

8:00 The F1 filial generation is developed by crossing 2 distinctly different specimens. They can be wild caught purebred organisms or purebred organisms in captivity, which is as good as the pure bloodline from a wild caught pure specimen. By 'wild caught' I meant that.
We can find a lot of information regarding 'filial generation' by searching in Google as well as from George Mendell's genetic experiments with pea plants which we all read in our school science books.
