Are these software uploads password protected? In other words, can anyone just plug in and upload software to the system, without being authenticated first? Serious security concerns if this is the case. Thanks.
Thanks for your reply. Aside from verifying the signature, is there anything stopping a person from uploading software, whether verified or not, onto the system? In other words, does the system require an authorised user to enter some kind of a password before uploading and verifying it, or can they just proceed with the upload without any access control checks whatsoever? My question is more related to the access control of the aircraft system itself. Thank you.

Offcourse. There is a signature for each software and also the file type, and the source is well protected.

Yes. It is password protected and also log file created for admins.
