Trina was trying to make up for Christmas Eve lol. These scenes were absolute perfection. Spencer was the best support system and Trina asking him to go with her was wonderful. I loved that she asked. She was so vulnerable here and Spencer’s response was fantastic. He seemed so honored at the idea.

This couple brings it all the time even if it is for a few seconds. General Hospital knows it and they would make history if they did and bring in many new fans to ABC/Disney.

@@marshagreen9759 GH had a few spin-offs. They had Night Shift and Port Charles. I watched Night Shift which was set at the hospital on the night shift lol(very creative). I didn’t watch Port Charles. The Days of Our Lives spin offs were like mini series. A few episodes to tell a story. The GH spin-offs were full on shows. I think a GH spinoff that was like a mini series would be better. Let them write a 6-8 episode story where Sprina gets to be the main attraction…look at Greenland; I think that writers would be able to put together something fun like that for fans. But, yes, let’s speak it into existence

The fact that Spencer was ENCOURAGING Trina to go to Paris shows tremendous GROWTH on Spencer's part. A year ago, this man would've thought up 101 reasons as to why she SHOULDN'T go; with SELFISH motivations behind it. He's becoming MORE selfLESS & thoughtful over time of HER needs and wants.... They went straight for each other's clothes after that. And made sweet passionate love to welcome the new year.
I love this. Trina is usually the voice of reason, the responsible one, and the level-headed good decision-maker, whether it's about her life or Spencer's. Spencer's excitement for her and insisting that she has to take the opportunity is what growth and unselfish love looks like. When a person is nervous about something new or unknown and their spouse or partner encourages them to be brave, move forward and embrace the golden opportunity instead of accepting a sub-par alternative, that's so healthy and such a good trait in a partner! I'm glad the GH writers didn't mess that moment up.

There were so many things about this scene...but one, stood out more than anything bigger than the support, the acceptance of joining her--he asked her about the letter, he didn't ramble through the open envelope. We know Portia was in her dorm earlier in the year after the Nurse's Ball and she went pillaging through Trina's stuff. His expression was frozen when she said..."I thought you could come with" because ever since Spencer stumbled more than a month ago with the ultimatum, I felt him humbled. We saw him humbled, giving up control. He'd be willing to love her enough to let her go on this adventure, all on her own. But her inviting him was like a dream come true. He surely has the grip to make the trip to and fro.
I think happiness, the possibility of acceptance by her family (esp Portia, the hardest nut to crack), and more time alone with Trina has changed Spencer's focus and perspective, like we all knew/hoped it would. Distance from Esme, even distance from Ace, has proven to him that the world ain't ending b/c he lets them go and he isn't following in his father's footsteps, so therefore he is free to love Trina as unconditionally as he pleases - without guilt, without feeling unworthy, without FEAR. Fear of abandonment or being the abandoner, especially. Thinking back on his character development up to this point (though it took us a millennia to get here), I am not surprised that he wants to go to Paris with her. He wants to be free to love Trina, now, and support her like she's been supporting him this whole time. That is a true sign of growth and maturity -- I see someone who has earned the right to love her, when way back in the day, the Spencer he was when he was begging for her approval at Ava's gallery every five minutes, he wasn't it. THIS Spencer is the one who deserves Trina. Now I'm waiting for GH to drop the other shoe and split them up for an epic adventure that makes their renuion rival the famous Greenland Jump Kiss.

A year ago there was so much in the live feed about the first kiss. Year later Spencer and Trina have progressed to Spencer helping his future wife get dressed ...much like married people. The icing on the cake for this scene was Spencer kissing Trina after agreeing to go to Paris. It almost seemed like like an intrusion to watch . Spencer is looking handsome in a black suit, and Trina is looking like his beautiful princess in pink grown watching the fireworks on New Year Eve, loving the beautiful moment as the Super Couple brings in 2024 together as lovers.
Trina opened that door;giving her man one of the most seductive looks, Spencer's hands were on the front tie of her robe; and all I kept wondering is whether or not they would make it to their New Year's Eve event. Both of them looked gorgeous by the way. Pink is Tabyana's color hands down; but then again, she can practically pull off any color. And NAC in Dark Blue/Blue Black makes him look so debonair. Love it❤ This by far, was one of the most, romantic and sweet episodes since NYC. Anyone who doubted Spencer's support of Trina's dreams were/are sorely mistaken. He's always supported her dreams. He just sees attaining those dreams through different avenues/perspective. And Trina inviting him to come with her, and him telling her he'll follow her anywhere; that's true love. They are the definition of what wedding vows are meant to be and they're not even married yet. I have some theories on what I think should happen, and why, in order to send Epidermis to a prison cell. I'll talk about that later.

SPRINA's love story is the love that I have never seen in my life, and both are on one accord. Spencer mentioned a church he wants to take Trina to and the small garden. Absolutely love this shift in the Sprina storyline. Trina in Paris!..YEESSS! .. attending the Sorbonne for an art internship is bomb! Spencer's support and encouragement was excellent. Just the idea is so thrilling and romantic. Now.... the only thing I see looming (and I've mentioned it before) is that they are hopping in that bed a lot ..lol... Hmmm, Spencer are you using protection?🤔 Unplanned pregnancies derail women's education, plans and goals all the time. I'm curious to see where the writers will take this. Very interesting though.

The only couple I remember who focused on safe sex was Patrick and Robin, and that was because she's HIV+. But still the condom broke and she became pregnant with Emma. Years ago when Sam got pregnant by Sonny she wanted to terminate the pregnancy and Jason stopped her at the clinic. What's wrong with discussing precaution, contraceptives and women's bodies and choices around having children? Is it because men are writing these scripts? Are they afraid of push back? But as soon as a girl or woman gets pregnant all hell breaks loose, the single mother trope is used and baby-mama drama ensues. Women are smarter that this and do have choices.

Reading into the script. NAC sent his audition video, possibly on a whim. Got the audition. Got the Monsters job. Blew up! This scene was written about him. They knew he would be leaving GH. This was the catalyst to him leaving the show. Sad but true. We, as fans, miss him. We are happy for the current projects and what's to come. We all hope for him to do great without losing himself in the process. And, we hope the best success for Taby. Because they together are super couple status!
Actually he wasn't supposed to be leaving GH when he got Monsters. He was going to film both however the writers strike happened pushing back the production on Monsters while soap operas kept filming. The plan was for him to go on leave to film Monsters then come back to GH. In fact he did renegotiate his contract, offering to return for one more year. However EP Frank Valentini wanted him to sign another lengthy contract which he wasn't willing to do but left the door open to return in the future. This is according to TVLine and the statement he issued. And yes hopefully Tabyana leaves once her contract is up in a few more months. She has more to offer than what this show is willing to give her.

I think Trina told her earlier when they stepped outside to talk, that she loves Spencer, and she wants a future with him, and they can't be friends (never). I'm really to see that Spencer is supporting his girlfriend to go that's a good part of Spencer. When Trina asks him if he will go with her he says yes, but now Esma's memories are back would she have an excuse for him not to go with Trina Esma was mad to see Spencer and Trina together. Now we don't have to worry about Trina's Mom since he will give Spencer a chance to live their life.
I'm so happy that Spencer and Trina will be going on another adventure together , but this time its Paris the place of love. GH needed a reason to write out Spencer (since Nicholas Chavez is doing his movie) and Tabyana would be left on her own without him. It's for the show to write her out as well and made it look like she's the reason they're leaving. I guess they will be back in February hopefully married. I read that there was supossed to be some show down between Esme and Trina but will it before or after they leave.

@@Ms_Bumblebee He left in December. The show is on Christmas hiatus until mid January. He’s due back in Feb. From the spoilers put out it seems like they have taped through Valentine’s Day. He may not be off screen at all or he’ll only be off for a few weeks. They can also tape back shows, since they tape out of order a lot and he may not miss anything. They’ve been on a lot lately, but usually they’re only on once a week. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.

The Days of Our Lives spin offs were like mini series. A few episodes to tell a story. The GH spin-offs were full on shows. I think a GH spinoff that was like a mini series would be better. Let them write a 6-8 episode story where Sprina gets to be the main attraction…look at Greenland; I think that writers would be able to put together something fun like that for fans.

He was gonna get his girl in bed, 1 way or another. 1st w the "what party" then the "if I must" when zipping her up, and finally the "when the woman u love ask u to go to Paris, u say yes" - cue that sexy ass seductive smile and straight for the kiss. They went straight for each other's clothes after that. And made sweet passionate love to welcome the new year.
I love this. Trina is usually the voice of reason, the responsible one, and the level-headed good decision-maker, whether it's about her life or Spencer's. Spencer's excitement for her and insisting that she has to take the opportunity is what growth and unselfish love looks like. When a person is nervous about something new or unknown and their spouse or partner encourages them to be brave, move forward and embrace the golden opportunity instead of accepting a sub-par alternative, that's so healthy and such a good trait in a partner! I'm glad the GH writers didn't mess that moment up.

I think happiness, the possibility of acceptance by her family (esp Portia, the hardest nut to crack), and more time alone with Trina has changed Spencer's focus and perspective, like we all knew/hoped it would. Distance from Esme, even distance from Ace, has proven to him that the world ain't ending b/c he lets them go and he isn't following in his father's footsteps, so therefore he is free to love Trina as unconditionally as he pleases - without guilt, without feeling unworthy, without FEAR. Fear of abandonment or being the abandoner, especially. Thinking back on his character development up to this point (though it took us a millennia to get here), I am not surprised that he wants to go to Paris with her. He wants to be free to love Trina, now, and support her like she's been supporting him this whole time. That is a true sign of growth and maturity -- I see someone who has earned the right to love her, when way back in the day, the Spencer he was when he was begging for her approval at Ava's gallery every five minutes, he wasn't it. THIS Spencer is the one who deserves Trina.
Now I'm waiting for GH to drop the other shoe and split them up for an epic adventure that makes their renuion rival the famous Greenland Jump Kiss.

Trina opened that door;giving her man one of the most seductive looks, Spencer's hands were on the front tie of her robe; and all I kept wondering is whether or not they would make it to their New Year's Eve event. This by far, was one of the most, romantic and sweet episodes since NYC. Anyone who doubted Spencer's support of Trina's dreams were/are sorely mistaken. He's always supported her dreams. He just sees attaining those dreams through different avenues/perspective. And Trina inviting him to come with her, and him telling her he'll follow her anywhere; that's true love. They are the definition of what wedding vows are meant to be and they're not even married yet. I have some theories on what I think should happen, and why, in order to send Epidermis to a prison cell. I'll talk about that later.

Reading into the script. NAC sent his audition video, possibly on a whim. Got the audition. Got the Monsters job. Blew up! This scene was written about him. They knew he would be leaving GH. This was the catalyst to him leaving the show. Sad but true. We, as fans, miss him. We are happy for the current projects and what's to come. We all hope for him to do great without losing himself in the process. And, we hope the best success for Taby. Because they together are super couple status!
Actually he wasn't supposed to be leaving GH when he got Monsters. He was going to film both however the writers strike happened pushing back the production on Monsters while soap operas kept filming. The plan was for him to go on leave to film Monsters then come back to GH. In fact he did renegotiate his contract, offering to return for one more year. However EP Frank Valentini wanted him to sign another lengthy contract which he wasn't willing to do but left the door open to return in the future. This is according to TVLine and the statement he issued.
And yes hopefully Tabyana leaves once her contract is up in a few more months. She has more to offer than what this show is willing to give her.

@@Ms_Bumblebee He left in December. The show is on Christmas hiatus until mid January. He’s due back in Feb. From the spoilers put out it seems like they have taped through Valentine’s Day. He may not be off screen at all or he’ll only be off for a few weeks. They can also tape back shows, since they tape out of order a lot and he may not miss anything. They’ve been on a lot lately, but usually they’re only on once a week. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.
