First Bridgestone I had was the black Sport 90. Followed by a red 175 Dual Sport such as you have. Brings back memories strong. Your 175 sounds excellent.
In the sixties my father owned a garage he was very successful he also had a Bridgestone dealership and Alouette snowmobile dealership and A Renault car dealership in Atlantic Canada in 67 he would come home at lunch and take me for a ride sitting me on the gas tank and we would go by Centennial Park in Moncton New Brunswick Canada and there was a voodoo jet fighter on display in the park and every day I would look at the plane and say wow and he would go yep she's a corker that was one of the Fondest Memories of my life all on a Bridgestone 175 I wish I had my dad and my 175 back just a thought thanks for the memory
Only 84 views? The people dont know what they are missing. When I was little, my cousins boyfriend had one of these. I burned my leg on the exhaust pipe. It was an honor! Great video
I am surprised how well these are put together. I don't have any comparison to other bikes in that era, hopefully I can find some vintage shows or rides in the area.

Thanks for the comment. I like hearing about the history of these bikes and how they came and went. Our little town had a hardware store that sold Bridgestones and SnoPrince snowmobiles. My uncle had the 175 and people remember that bike and hearing him head to work and back for years
Just bought a 71 200rs very excited to get it running!
Test rode one in 1966 or 1967 and loved it. Wonderful ride.
Great sound! Wish I had one now!
Light, flickable fun!
I wish I could find a good example of this bike to own! So many memories of when I was a kid and my dad taking me for rides.

Thanks for the comment! I have a 60 sport that is a lot of fun too but the 175's are by far my favorite

I appreciate your comment. These seem to be well made bikes for the time. My dad and uncle had Bridgestones and I like hearing their stories too
Sold at Montgomery wards for a while
The hardware store in our little town sold them
Yea I'm not suprized, it's amazing how we remember that stuff
Take a good look at a yl2c 100 yamaha
I would love to have that bike I you to have the90 Bridgestone
Will you sell it
I wish I had owned a Bridgestone 175 as opposed to my Yamaha 180 YCS1-C. The Yamaha was engineered wrong in every category. Piece of junk.
