- Well… this is an interesting one…GFL acquired quite a few trucks and contracts from Prairieland earlier this year. After only holding the assets for a few months, GFL decided to sell off the assets. So unless GFL gets more work around here, this will be it for GFL in northern Illinois. This video includes at least one clip of every truck that I got while GFL ran them. LRS now owns these assets.

Love these trucks
Rizzo sold to GFL way long ago. And still to this day we run some old ass trucks! We still have a 92 Ford Leach. And a bunch of newer heil, new way and Mcneilus packers. Plus those side bucket recycling trucks and the new way Pete 320 and the frightliner side loaders. And a 32 Mack MR from Sterling along with a MR tag axle rear loader we got a few trucks sitting in the back of the shop either for compost or getting scrapped. Oh and a hand full of LR curottos!
My favorites are # 74 and 88

Apparently Prairieland cut all the mufflers off the trucks before selling them

I absolutely loved every single unit featured in this video, from the International on heavy bulk to the WXLL MSL "One Pass", and from the CoolHand Converted MSL to the Condor M/A.
Although, my two (can't chose one) favorites are the Condor M/A and the Converted CoolHand.

Definitely gonna be something seeing these green trucks become LRS. Also can’t wait for the annoying “Green LRS” titles to come out 😂. Overall loved every single truck in the video!

Flat nose are way better to see out of but a pain in the ass for semi auto or by hand because of the distance to the hopper
Awesome video here Jaden, Really enjoyed every truck shown in the video. But I got list of my favorite ones. The WXLL at the start of the video. One of my favorites that Pete 320 Bridgeport at 1:28. Also, love that FL at 5:14. For the Rear Loader, I like the Leach at 6:36. Another truck that I like was 8:53 Tons of Yardwaste! And I love my Automizers and New ways. So, at 10:03 I really love that Pete 520 lid flipping action. That truck at 15:43 I really love. Finally, 16:26 that condor. Most of all these trucks you can will hear the GROWL from them. If I had to say my favorite it would have been the Condor M/A. But all of the trucks shown are cool. Great work on this one Jaden. I had a blast watching all of these trucks.

So GFL just divested everything in Minnesota and Illinois to LRS. But what about Peoria Disposal Company? They literally just paid $500 million for them in September...did that one go to LRS too? Gonna be pretty strange seeing all the former Advanced trucks in Minnesota being operated by LRS that's for sure.
It will definitely be weird. GFL only divested the Prairieland assets, 3 transfers in Illinois, one transfer in Minnesota and a small hauling site in Minnesota. So GFL still owns all the Peoria assets and some of the old Advanced work in Minnesota.
