Excellent video. Looking at 6 channel amps. Any opinions between jl and audio control for this type of amp. Going to be powering Hertz speakers which are high sensitivity most at 94spl.
Either are great options. Both are excellent quality brands, reliable, sound great at all volumes and put out much more than their rated spec. The only thing that would matter at this point is aesthetics and features that matter to you and of course, price.
The main difference is that it has all the connections on one side making the install look cleaner. The reason I chose this over the JD is because it has the cover over the knobs so they don't get accidentally or purposely readjusted by someone that doesn't know what they're doing. Like kids!
High quality unit. Money well spent.
I have the rd900 and it sounds great.
I don’t have any noise with a regular kenwood, let alone an exceleon or reference level stuff. For the money:Kenwood Excelon. More power too.

What determines setting input on either stereo or mono. I would be using it on 4 channel for my mids & highs. Thanks brother 👍

Whats the Difference between this one and the JD 400/4
Watch the video half way I talk about the difference thanks
NexD technology mainly, along with other goodies like clip indicator and beauty cover
@@Lui5_torre5 The JD also has NextD technology and clip indicators.

Mines is fried after 5 months
Jl audio amps reliability is very questionable
Have you found out what you did wrong to fry it?
