When Arjuna asked Krishna to share the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita again, Krishna initially resisted, mentioning that the first time was under unique circumstances. Nonetheless, Krishna agreed and offered the Anugita. Although still wise, the Anugita didn't have the same powerful effect as the original.

The best translation and explanation of the Bhagwad Gita hands down. Plus, unlike most translators and explainers, Sant Dnyaneshwar himself reached enlightenment. I think the most decent English translation of Dnyaneshwari would be the one by Ghaisas.

गीता ज्ञान दाता वास्तव में काल अर्थात ब्रह्म है
अध्याय 11 श्लोक 32 में पवित्र गीता जी को बोलने वाला प्रभु कह रहा है कि ‘हे अर्जुन यह मेरा वास्तविक काल रूप है'।
गीता अध्याय 7 श्लोक 13 में गीता ज्ञान दाता कहता है कि इन गुणोंके कार्यरूप सात्विक श्री विष्णु जी के प्रभाव से, राजस श्री ब्रह्मा जी के प्रभाव से और तामस श्री शिवजी के प्रभाव से तीनों प्रकारके भावोंसे यह सारा संसार - प्राणिसमुदाय मुझ काल के ही जाल में मोहित हो रहा है अर्थात् फंसा है इसलिए पूर्ण अविनाशीको नहीं जानता।
गीता अध्याय 7 श्लोक 12 से 15 का भावार्थ है कि जो साधक स्वभाव वश तीनों गुणों रजगुण ब्रह्मा जी, सतगुण विष्णु जी, तमगुण शिव जी तक की साधना से मिलने वाले लाभ पर ही आश्रित रहकर इन्हीं तीनों प्रभुओं की भक्ति से जिन का ज्ञान हरा जा चुका है वे राक्षस स्वभाव को धारण किए हुए मनुष्यों में नीच, शास्त्र विधि विरुद्ध भक्ति रूपी दुष्कर्म करने वाले मूर्ख मुझ ब्रह्म को भी नहीं भजते
गीता ज्ञान दाता ने स्वयम को नाशवान बताया है
गीता ज्ञान दाता ने गीता अध्याय 2 श्लोक 12, अध्याय 4 श्लोक 5, अध्याय 10 श्लोक 2 में अपने आप को नाशवान यानि जन्म-मरण के चक्र में सदा रहने वाला बताया है। कहा है कि हे अर्जुन! तेरे और मेरे बहुत जन्म हो चुके हैं। तू नहीं जानता, मैं जानता हूँ। अपने जन्म को गीता ज्ञान दाता ने गीता अध्याय 4 श्लोक 9 में आलोकिक बताया है जो कि सत्य है लेकिन उसने ये स्पष्ट कर दिया कि वो जन्म मरण में है।
गीता ज्ञान दाता ने अविनाशी परमात्मा किसी और को कहा है जो कि वास्तव में परमात्मा है
अध्याय 15, श्लोक 16 में गीता ज्ञान दाता ने कहा है कि इस संसारमें दो प्रकार के भगवान हैं नाशवान और अविनाशी परंतु गीता अध्याय 15 श्लोक 17 में गीता ज्ञान दाता ने कहा है कि वास्तव में अविनाशी परमात्मा तो इन दोनों (क्षर पुरूष तथा अक्षर पुरूष) से दूसरा ही है। वही तीनों लोकों में प्रवेश करके सर्व का धारण पोषण करता है। वही वास्तव में परमात्मा कहा जाता है।
गीता अध्याय 8 श्लोक 20 से 22 में गीता ज्ञान दाता ने किसी अन्य पूर्ण परमात्मा के विषय में ज्ञान कहा है जो वास्तव में अविनाशी परमात्मा है।
गीता ज्ञान दाता ने स्वयम को परम अक्षर पुरुष से उत्पन्न बताया है
गीता अध्याय 3 श्लोक 14 से 15 में स्पष्ट है कि ब्रह्म काल की उत्पति परम अक्षर पुरूष से हुई है। वही परम अक्षर ब्रह्म ही यज्ञों में पूज्य है। (ये ब्रह्म काल ही गीता ज्ञान दाता है)
गीता ज्ञान दाता ने किसी और पूर्ण परमात्मा को अपना इष्ट देव बताया है
गीता अध्याय 18 के श्लोक 62 में गीता ज्ञान दाता ने अर्जुन को किसी और पूर्ण परमात्मा कि शरण में जाने को कहा है।
गीता अध्याय 18 के श्लोक 66 में भी गीता ज्ञान दाता ने अर्जुन को अपने से अन्य परम अक्षर ब्रह्म की शरण में जाने को कहा है।
गीता जी के अध्याय 18 के श्लोक 64 तथा अध्याय 15 के श्लोक 4 में स्वयं गीता ज्ञान दाता कह रहा है कि हे अर्जुन! मेरा उपास्य देव (इष्ट) भी वही परमात्मा (पूर्ण ब्रह्म) ही है तथा मैं भी उसी की शरण हूँ तथा वही सनातन स्थान (सतलोक) ही मेरा परम धाम है।
ऐसा काल ब्रह्म ने इसलिए कहा है क्योंकि ब्रह्म भी वहीं (सतलोक) से निष्कासित है।
वास्तविक भक्ति विधि के लिए गीता ज्ञान दाता (ब्रह्म) किसी तत्वदर्शी संत की खोज करने को कहता है
गीता अध्याय 4 श्लोक 34 में गीता ज्ञान दाता किसी तत्वदर्शी संत की खोज करने को कहता है। इस से सिद्ध होता है कि गीता ज्ञान दाता (ब्रह्म) द्वारा बताई गई भक्ति विधि पूर्ण नहीं है तथा अधूरी है।

कारण है कि काल को शापवश एक लाख प्राणियों का आहार करना होता है। इसलिए मुख्य कारण अपने आप को कहा है तथा काल भगवान तीनों देवताओं से भिन्न ब्रह्म लोक में रहता है तथा इक्कीसवें ब्रह्मण्ड में रहता है। इसलिए कहा है कि मैं उनमें तथा वे मुझ में नहीं हैं।

I have physical copy of iskon printed Geeta but I read Swami mukundananda bhagwat Geeta online for great explanation
The truth is... It's not about how to read Geeta. It's rather about who is reading Geeta. The thought of trying to understand Geeta within a single lifespan itself is Human Ignorance. If you're not at that spiritual level of existence in your current lifetime to understand Geeta in its depth, how would you be able to decode it's teachings?
Understand this, and stay humble. It's harsh but true, no matter how much you try, it might still not be your cup of tea.

There is only one Bhagavad Gita not many, it's in Sanskrit language. Learn Sanskrit or read many translations by many authors. The guest forgot to mention.

@@aryanpadamwar5768 You can get any of 1. Swamy Sivananda's 2. ISKCON version by Prabhupada 3. Maybe from Gita press Gorakhpur. They have original sanskrit script with word for word translation, some with transliteration, and the meaning in their own words in English. Have a look before you buy.

"Prabhupada" all translated books are only the translation of actual verses not added anything.....
Actually he has added a bit. However, read the English translation of a book called Dnyaneshwari. The translation has been done by a man called Ghaisas. Dnyaneshwari came out of the mouth of a great saint called Dnyaneshwar, which was written down by a disciple of his. It is the best explanation for the Bhagwad Gita. Sant Dnyaneshwar was himself a completely realized being. Do some research on him and his 3 siblings, all of whom attained enlightenment. Their story, plus the book is extremely fascinating and enlightening.

Rama and Krishna are not human! You don't understand. Krishna takes birth to display his pastimes to teach us the methods how to attain him. Shiva incarnated as Advaita acharya prayed to Krishna to come as Caitanya Mahaprabhu to teach people how to worship him in Kali-Yuga. If God displays humanlike qualities it is only to teach us proper behavior and etiquette.

1- Prabhupada claims “there is no salvation in shiva” in Chaitanya bhagavat.. but page one of Shiva puran, linga puran and Skanda puran and kurma puran say the complete opposite
2- Shiva is not a demi god anywhere.. several vedas and puranas refer to him as the supreme lord
3- there are several inserts in your BG to force people to worship krishna only and not have any ishta devta
4- Lord Rama is also supreme, his form is acceptable as 100% of brahman, Tulsidas Ramacaritamanas gives enough evidence for this but Iskcon created their own gibberish to say Rama is only percentage of Krishna and even dared to call the hailed Saint Goswami Tulsidas a Mayavadhi
5- Mayavadhi is another gibberish word Iskcon invented because it doesnt like people reading vedas and choosing another path suited to them. Main example being impersonalism which is a totally accetable angle verfied by vedas.

परेशजीवपारैक्यं मया तु प्रतिपाद्यते
ब्रह्मणोस्य स्वयं रूपं निर्गुणं वक्ष्यते मया
सर्वस्य जगतोऽप्यत्र मोहनार्थं कलौ युगे
वेदार्थवन्महाशास्त्रं मायया यदवैदिकम्
मयैव कल्पितं देवि जगतां नाशकारणात् ||
Lord Shiva says: “The doctrine of Maya (Mayavad) is a wicked doctrine and said to be pseudo-Buddhist. I (Shiva) myself, of the form of a brahmana, proclaimed it in Kali age. It shows the meaninglessness of the words of the holy texts and is condemned in the world. In this (doctrine) only the giving up of one’s own duties is expounded. And that is said to be religiousness by those who have fallen from all duties. I have propounded the oneness of the Highest Lord and the Individual soul. I stated this Brahman’s nature to be qualityless. 0 goddess, I myself have conceived, for the destruction of the worlds, and for deluding the world in this Kali age, the great doctrine resembling the purport of the Vedas, (but) non-Vedic due to the principle of Maya.”

Okay, seems like you are a great scholar coming from an authentic parampara. 😂
You first of all need to know that ISKCON just translated the Gita into English... This interpretation of the Gita called the Bhakti vedanta Bhashya, has been prevalent in the 4 authentic Paramparas, including Gaudiya Parampara. ISKCON again has just gave it to the world, in English.

I request sincere seekers to stay clear of those slandering other devotees here. Vaishnava apradha will drive you away from any spiritual contemplation.
Dont follow preachings of Iskcon or prabhpada if it doesnt sit right with you.. We are sanatanis after all.. Not abrahamics.. But dont condone or participate in criticism of devotees.

To be honest brother, that is well said and I agree with you.. but i have lived with poison since i read some of iskcons books.. once i wanted to cut off my tongue physically because prabhupada had written “there is no salvation in shiva” and i had read this verse aloud with my tongue.
Dont you think it is a nexessity as a sanatani to protect other seekers or bhaktas with other ishta devtas to not fall into iskcons abrahamisation of sanatan dharma?

Actually it is Vedic as the concept of Para Brahman and the Aatma becoming one exists, it refers as Advaita. And if you read Bhagvat Gita carefully and with a calm mind then you can see the same concept said by Bhagvan shree Krishna. But this will only happen when shree Krishna sees you fit for it, without his will nothing will happen

The very concept of GOD is a western concept. The Indian Spirituality is all about becoming GOD, which means realising the truth. Ram, Krishna, Mahaveera were all realised Human beings. The story of Avatars is actually the story of Evolution. How we started from Fish and so on....

Ram was not a normal human being but till his early teen years he went to all sorts of human emotions and after meeting his Guru then he had the realisation of who he really was. It is almost the same as Jambavan ji reminding Hanuman ji who he really was. Yoga Vasistha which is the conversation between Guru Vasistha and Ram ji and Valmiki ji (who is the author of this book too along with Ramayan)tells us the transition of Bal Ram to Bhagwan Ram. BTW Yoga Vasistha is almost as big as whole Ramayan
