Really appreciate you guys, this podcast and Kaitlin especially. Haven't put my finger on it, but I think she is key to the Matchbox. Keep it up!

100% agree on HRV and how I feel. Very rarely does it match how I feel. Won't be renewing my subscription once it expires. In addition, sleep analysis and recommendations don't agree with how I feel. I can only sleep so much! If I try to sleep as much as it wants me too, I just end up wasting time in bed awake.

If you look at the work of Dr Indigo San Millan: In the population of people with certain conditions like diabetes, long covid or cancer, the resting lactate level is higher than normal. Therefore they hit the first turn point more quickly. This is a sign of problems with the mitochondria. Focusing on Zone 2 can help repair/ improve mitochondria functions.

Thats crazy maybe why Dylan can't crack the top ten ever. The power transfer gain is worth it alone besides the power boost. It's another weapon in the tool bag

I thought everybody pulls out, i mean pulls up, I'll do it when i need extra power. And I'm assuming when Dylan says nobody ever pulls up he's not talking about sprinting, when you sprint you have to pull up or I'll pass you

Stretching doesn't improve performance huh? How bout stress reduction, blood circulation, reduced inflammation, mental clarity, flexibility, injury prevention, range of motion, better sleep? Yeah it can't hurt...

This is a cycling podcast, so we can probably assume he means Cycling performance in terms of Power output Over extended periods of time. With that in mind, We can guess it It doesn't increase: Aerobic Capacity, Muscular endurance, lactate threshold or V02 Max, and therefore, does not increase performance. I don't think anyone said stretching will necessarily hurt
