The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official TH-cam home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA. - เพลง
One of the MOST underrated tracks of ALL-TIME agreed? 🤝Agreed
Without Biggie half of hip hop wouldn’t be here ...
I was 16-17 In 94-95. Damn did we have some of the greatest albums drop in my high school dayz! No era will beat it . I don’t think these yrs will ever be topped . Not possible , perfection!
Same here. I remember hearing him non stop on Hot97 while we were driving around.
I wish I was alive during those times
Yeaaaa Im 22
Just like you guys.
Anyone that was really good in our generation
Is dead or will die. But most the best ones have died.
I don’t count drake tho. He’s trash. Death don’t even want him lmaooo
@@Corinthian99 when I was 16 we would drive to Manhattan’s Lower East Side bumping Biggie and score a bunch of blow from the Dominicans. 🤣 I miss the early 90’s.
@@david.mbb1366 you know what , growing up then before cell phones actually made life a lot more fun. I know you might find that hard to believe but social media changed the behaviors of people in so many ways. The world was less strict in a way. Hard to explain but neighborhoods were filled with kids outside. You lived more in the moment. I’m gonna sound old here but me and my boys had a tape recorder(cassette) to capture us doing stuff lol! There was music stores to go hang out. Damn things done changed in 25 yrs. Beepers came out and we were like why do I want someone to get ahold of me while I’m out. I’ll get their message whenever I go home . Seriously lol
This song was a dedication too his uncle in Jamaica, after big became succesful..
His uncle use too take big to dance hall clubs when he was youngsters visiting Jamaica 🇯🇲as a kid..
Dude was a genius 👏

Favorite biggie song. The man's ability to tell a rhyming story was next level

Greatest of ALL time. With only 2 albums. Life after arguably the greatest rap album ever.
In my opinion definitely
That 'I'm seeing my death and I aint even make my first step' line is just undefeated. Biggie was a monster
Umbilical cords wrapped around my neck!!

If the whole album came out today every song would be a hit
I’m both a rock metal fan and older east coast rap fan. Hands down BIG was one of a kind. His flow, his cadence, words. You can close your eyes to every song and play it in your mind as a movie. This guy is on the Mt.Rushmore of greatest Rappers of all time. East coast rappers like Biggie, Big Daddy Kane,KRS1, slick Rick are freaking top shelf. Todays rap are garbage
Man, Biggie's music after all these years is still better than the music we have today
Yup
I tell everyone that. Even my daughter who is 13 and listens to digga D says biggie is the greatest of all time. I Don't suppose living with her dad for 11 years had anything to do with that. 🤣🤣👍🏻
I love this song ❤🔥. He would’ve been 51 years old today. Happy Birthday to The Notorious B.I.G.! We celebrate you, always. #BiggieForever ❤🥳🎉🎊🕊️5/21/2023
Only Biggie can make childbirth sound awesome

As much as I love D.I.T.C, Wu-Tang absolutely takes the cake for TOP Rap Group of all time.

World would have been different if this guy was still alive..
I will say it again. All I heard was juicy on the radio in Houston. When my brother brought this back from the East Coast. That was it. Played this all night.
“If I’m pimpin’ on tha F with weed on my breath, original hustler with the muffler on the Tech.” This shyt goes really hard.
My favorite biggie song will always be “RESPECT”. I’ve gone back and listened to all his stuff over the years but nothing will ever come close to “RESPECT”. I believe it’s his best. That beat, that hook the realness was life for any hood boy growing up listening to it. The most underrated song of all times. I’m Puerto Rican and although I will say Big Punisher was more lyrical I still say biggie was the greatest. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see his full evolution in the game because his life was cut short. It broke my heart writing that last sentence. 👑
RIP BIG ❤️
Ofc you ll rank big pun that high when ur from Puerto Rico. 😅
Biggie is hard to reach imo though
@@jlntpy1706 that’s not why. Lyrically he was that nasty with it. I don’t put DMx up there cause his lyrics were basic and repetitive. Pun was a very versatile rapper who could do it all from anywhere underground to the mainstream. I actually didn’t like him when I first heard him. It took a while cause I wasn’t feeling him at first but like all the others I gave him his chance. He didn’t disappoint.
At 25 he just started his career, also he was a pioneer in the genre, he could have been massive! He is still the GOAT in this genre, pure street stuff and real, day to day life struggle, top level poetry and beats, musicality... It's a pitty he got shot. Respect the King of N.Y.
shout out to all the 70's babies with a West Indian and American background from Brooklyn - no era did what we did!
