Draw an Outline Using a Grid

To create my line drawing I used:
A2 Cartridge paper - the thinner the better for transferring my image later.
A mechanical drawing pencil
An eraser
A ruler

What is cartridge paper?

It's just regular drawing paper like the ones at this link www.jacksonsart.com/search/?q=cartridge%2Bpaper&___store=jacksonsart_en&acc=087408522c31eeb1f982bc0eaf81d35f. Because I'm only using my sketches to transfer onto my proper pastel paper, I use cheap quality, thin drawing paper. If your drawing is the finished piece, go for a better quality.
