These ship tours are some of my favourite videos on TH-cam, always enjoy watching them. Since finding your channel in December 2019 I really want to go on a cruise. Also, I know it might be too personal but I think next time you are on a cruise for a holiday a vlog would be a good upload for your channel. Appreciate it might feel like ‘work’ whilst on holiday though. Plus the Danny Dines is a great addition so maybe if no vlogs there could be other similar content like that.

I was on this ship with my whole family for my second cruise. I remember that they had a yellow and purple slide. The pools look totally different. The time I went we didn’t get a cabin, but I spent most of my time outside.
The recent renovations have changed a lot aesthetically, but the great layout still remains.

UK cruise tour companies should take a leaf out of your book, amazing knowledge of ships and clearly very attentive, do you take booking from the UK?

Love all your videos. I was wondering if the seats in the theater are comfortable. The ones on the Breakaway were so uncomfortable.
I believe they are the same as on the Breakaway.
Great video! Very informative. I've only been on one NCL ship (Royal is my go to) but the complimentary food was terrible. The Breakaway was a beautiful ship but just bad food. I would say that the wife and I spent 80% of our time during the day on the waterfront

When I was there on the Norwegian Getaway the food was great. I think they definitely improved it.
Well, after the fact, my travel agent said that the food on NCL ships had been rated as not very good. They didn't tell us this upfront because they wanted us to firm our own opinion. Our TA was right.
SAME!!! Just got off and food was bad. The waterfront was the best part of the ship

Great informative video as always. Have you ever been on the gem and how would you compare. We looking for our 20th anniversary just as a couple and both boats are similar in price.
The Getaway has many upgrades that would lead us to recommend her. However there are some unique Haven rooms that exist in the Gem that we love too.
I challenge Danny to a game of 1v1. Love these videos though.
Been watching a number of these recently. Danny does a great job selling the ships. But I don’t think I’ve seen him make a single jump/set shot, just the underhand free throws.

I've been enjoying watching your videos, they are really fun. I've never been on a cruise though, so can I ask some questions, since you haven't covered this in your videos. Firstly do the cruises have a doctor on board just in case someone gets sick and needs one? Secondly, inside where the shops are, is there a chemist that sells pills, or bandages, or anything like that? I think you guys have something similar over there like a Walgreens. So is there something similar on a ship like a Walgreens that sells bits n pieces and essentials? Thanks for your cool videos, I'm from Australia and loving them. :)
In most of the tours we mention the areas to but things you may have left behind, that would be like your Walgreens at sea. There are mini hospitals with doctors aboard every ship sized appropriately to handle passengers on board.
@@HarrTravel Thanks so much for the reply.. None of these ships travel to Australia do they? I only know of the Radiance of the Seas which was here in November 2018. They had an Elvis theme which I love.. Sadly I didn't get to go on it though.

My wife and I took a Baltic cruise on the Getaway in 2017. I watched this last night (Sept. 24, 2022) to see what I recognized and had changed.
I was amused, to the point of literally laughing out loud, when he talked about how spaces could bring back specific memories while showing the Bliss Bar. It brought out my memory of the one time on the entire cruise we went into that bar (or any bar): our muster drill. 😂
Mustard drill bar hop. With the new muster drills, that is much easier.
I went on the NCL Getaway back in 2019, just now started uploading content. Seems like now you get the ship to yourself but I kind of like the crowds that tends to make it more fun

So I've seen videos that aren't too old like this one, and they show Margaritaville on the Getaway. Norwegian does not have it on any of their lists of available restaurants/ bars. Is it still on the ship or has it been replaced?
We filmed this back in March so it should be 100% current. They have removed Margaritaville on most ships, so that's probably why you don't see it on the website.

Wow!!! So detailed and I sailed this ship, and desperately want to go back. Really wish they provide fares for single people??? I would travel more frequently. Good job sharing this ship and knows all the nooks and crannies🤩🤩🤩🤩
Keep an eye out! With limited capacity the single supplement is being waved on many of the products out there. We haven't seen it on NCL yet, but it will be a great year for solo cruisers until the capacity catches up.

I just returned from a NCL cruise, great time. But no more Margaritaville, the American Restaurant was there in it's place.
This was an excruciating watch. By the end I felt that I'm going to need to reserve times and pay extra just to be able to exit my room. Also, Mr. wavy hands really loves to brag about his Haven status while slumming with us commoners.
Be nice. You chose to watch it. Deal with it.

So wish the CDC would pull its head out of its A** and let cruises resume to some degree. If we can fly we can cruise. Always had incredibly clean experiences cruising. I would cruise to nowhere if it opened tomorrow.

I’ve done literally loads of cruises, never seen any _security guards_ anywhere. I presume the bar staff are pretty much trained in how to deal with drunk wankers.
I’m going on this in March/April 2022 do I have to bring formal clothing like dresses and does my partner need to wear a suit?
You don’t *need* to do, wear, say anything! Stay in bed all day and eat room service meals naked if you want!
The good, very informative,lots of details. The bad, too much of you when you could have just narrated. The constant hand/arm movements became a little annoying.
