Questions like why do they have to move the terrain park, where is the lift going to drop skiers off and how fast will this lift be! always sad when a historic lift closes but this new lift helps crowd control and rider flow a lot better then the old 5 chair. also did anyone else have the feeling the old line would snap if you moved to much?
You need to visit the austrian alps one day. Those lifts are crazy modern and fast.

I was at the Breck ski resort 2 summers ago when there was no snow and the mountain was being used for mountain biking
I think a long lift ride is an integral part of a young snowboarders “Career” I mean where else can you smoke darts and not get weird looks, or hammer beers at 18 without anyone saying a word? That’s right on the chair lift, there are lots of lessons to be learned on the lift by a young snowboarder so I feel at least one long chair ride is important when making your way up a mountain, they don’t all have to be slow but you need one good one, and it’s a good way to recover if you just ate sh*t the last run and need just a min to recover. Lol

In Sweden, we have 8 chair lifts with heated seats and windshields that's make the lift the best place to be wen it's cold and windy
I’ll miss that terrifying jump off the end of the old lift lol (not really)! Makes the jump over to 4 o’clock at the end of day a lot nicer for sure.

I used to live in Summit County full-time snowboarder and miss it every day. Do they still have the country boy kickers? That’s what we used to call them. I can’t remember what run it was near but it was two really nice table tops/doubles

in maine, ive 100% been priced out of snowboarding. ive been snowboarding my entire life. cant anymore. small mountains can't compete, they closed, the only ones that stayed open are 75 and up for a day pass. no thanks. peace love
I've been to Breckenridge many times, this will help, granted I tend to stay higher up but would rather 6 chair or Zendo be upgraded or something done so Kensho or imperial can handle higher winds.
Zendo doesn't need an upgrade. It was built as a fixed grip on purpose to meter the ingress of traffic onto Peak 6.
@@TheLewistownTrainspotter8102 There is another way they could "meter" ingress, stop allowing so many people on the mountain. The line waiting to get on Zendo is a safety hazard, as is six chair, as is T-bar. I love the terrain at Breck, the massive crowds there have turned me off on the mountain and I go else where. Resorts are irresponsible the lower trails are so crowded it's unsafe, an argument cannot even be made that is it not.

I wanna pose to you with the comment of rain that as you go on and on with these vlogs and seasons, do you think the videos as a record could be useful for demonstrating the full long term impacts of climate change? I know that only having 7 full seasons is not much for record keeping, but if you keep at it, whats to say that season 20 might have rain in december or a season with not much in the way of snow throughout the whole thing(this happened in 1976/77 season). Just something to think about imo that as you get older, might observe more of these changes because whether we like it or not, winter is changing. Good video as always!

Why don’t u guys put the bar down? Is it to make ya look cool? I understand if their is no foot rest , but that chair has them.

i snowboarded all my life and maybe its a bit annoying when the chair is full but its always way better then nothing, plus you get an arm rest with the bar😄@@JohnathanBuckhouse
