I absolutely love the videos you post. Really helpful and I'm maximizing my Blaze Grill because of these posts!! Keep them coming. No other company is doing this and it's great content. Thanks!

You could drill a hole into the rod do the thumb screw fits into the hole to hold collar in place.

Thank you for this video. I have the 44inch prof built in. I'm doing a primrib as we speak... but when I pulled out the flavor shield and divider, I have this middle pole/rod there (where the divider was hanging from), what am I missing? how do I get a pan in and out of there with that pole/rod in the way?

I've read the comments on the counterbalance. As a kid we would adjust the counterbalance to compensate for the weight of the meat. We would do these adjustments before firing up the grill until we had a smooth turning of the rotisserie. I feel leaving it loose defeats the purpose. Please help me out here, thx.

Why is the counterbalance loose? Shouldn’t it be tightened once the meat is in place to help the motor turn evenly?

Good review! for some reason, I can't find the length of the power cord. Do you happen to know it?

Great video, but I think you misunderstand the purpose of the COUNTERweight. It should be positioned so that the rod and it’s load are balanced, just like one balances a ceiling fan. If the load is asymmetric and unbalanced, some lightweight motors have difficulty. The counterweight is positioned using the locking washer and threads so that is is opposite the asymmetric portion of the load (such as large chicken breasts) to balance the load. Allowing it to swing free, such as you suggest, makes it an ineffective pendant. Look forward to getting my Blaze grill installed and functional!

Can you leave the motor and motor bracket installed if not using the rotisserie? Or does it need to be removed?

Jim, is the end of the rotisserie rod really just flat or am I missing something? Was so painful trying to stab into my protein
