Hey friends, let me know what you think! Consider starting from the beginning of the series, click here -> th-cam.com/video/gT5qjUtE2SY/w-d-xo.html What would you like to work on next?
Hi Jonah, love these groovy blues licks! I play them regularly and I can reproduce them easily. However, I struggle coming up with fitting follow up riffs. Somehow mine sound out of place because they differ too much from the general motif. Could you do a follow up video with tips on how to improvise new licks for this particular blues?
I'm 71 and use to play harmonica by ear in the 60's. Influences were Alan Wilson, Keith Relf(yardbirds),Paul Butterfield,etc.. I enjoy your approach and teaching lessons for the harp. To be truthful when I first viewed your video you looked very young(wasn't sure how much knowledge you had) but within a short time I was a believer in your ability and encouraging style. Keep up the good work!
I had gotten my first harp as a teen around 1970. As you know we didn’t have the benefit of videos or TH-cam, only records to learn from. This is a refresher course to get me back on track. Good luck to you!
Hi Jonah, great tutorials and well explained. Thanks for posting these, they are really helpful. Just a little observation, your notation for the IV to V chord lick reads -4 -4' -4 on the play along but should be -4 -4' 4.
This graphic inerpretation is quite misleading, it would be better if you just count the gaps, I have trouble getting the right rythym with this backing track and your playing.

Correct. I noticed that too and was about to make the same comment. In the part where the whole thing is shown near the end.
Great video. Do you have a warble or shake video. Having a little trouble with the 4-5 warble.
I don’t yet, but I’ll work on it!
Can u do this with a special 20 Bb
I'm finding a bit tricky to go from -2'' to -1, seems like I arrive bending it a little, any advise?
I wanna get better at fast chugging and fox chase type of stuff, maybe a lesson on that?
❤️✌🏻

Noted. It was kind of new for me editing wise, i’m going to keep experimenting with other ways to communicate that. ✌️
Bad to the bone!?
Your getting a little long winded.
