I like this tryout routine, but the stunt at 0:41-0:43 seems too dangerous to do without a mat. Dominique handled it flawlessly, but it could cause great injury if a girl trying out, most who have had little to no dance or gymnastics experience, lands wrong, especially on a hard wooden floor.
Salsadivva Diring the "If We Could Fly" routine most of the girls except for maybe Cip, didn't execute the stunt nearly as well as Dom did. It reminds me of that Flip stunt they did in "Got Me Good" back in 13'.
Yep. And I also commented on how dangerous that stunt was in "Got Me Good" in 2013. Looked like the dancers landed straight on their backs. Talk about wear and tear on the body.
Me, too. And all I can think about is a potential law suit. I know the stunts are probably used to weed out the weaker dancers, but I think JSU should be more interested in limiting its liability AND promoting the safety of the girls trying out. Having such a stunt as part of the individual part of the tryouts and using a mat would still accomplish the same goal of weeding out weaker dancers. Just my opinion.

Salsadivva very true, every time they do stunts like that I get worried that someone neck or arm might get seriously injured.
