⏲ My favorite Manga of the Moment is Kaiju No 8 it has a lot of funny moments and I love that the main character is in his early 30's. I had difficulties with Emily Wilde as well. I also gave it 3⭐as the last 3rd of the book helped redeem itself with me. I would read a few chapters (journal entries?) and then put it down for a week at a time. Needless to say it took me almost 2 months to finish. 😅 Happy Belated Birthday!!

I'm hoping I enjoy Daughter of No Worlds, I'm hoping to get to it soon because I just finished Six Scorched Roses (finished The Serpent & The Wings of Night a couple days ago and loved both). If you haven't read Six Scorched Roses already I highly recommend it! It's a novella set in the same world as The Serpent & The Wings of Night, just following different characters.

🕰 I've read Emily Wilde and I gave it 4 stars. My Husband and I finished watching Scrapped Princess on Thursday. Not sure what we're going to watch next. I read all of Maid-sama! last week and gave the series 4 stars.

I still don't like Attack on Titan. The greatest manga I've ever read would always be Fruits Basket. I do love retellings. Anything based on Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, and Alice in Wonderland I always run to. Alice in the Country of Hearts was the best fairy tale manga that I've ever read.
