Today we start a new playthrough of Terraria, but my coins = weapon damage! Thanks to the coin mayhem mod, we've been given completely new way of playing the game, were (early on at least) the struggle will be real, as with no funds in sight, our damage off the bat takes a huge hit, leaving us in a below avg early pre-hardmode state. So lets see just how far we can go with this, and see if we can dig ourselves out of this hole! Drop a like if ya wanna see this turned into a series! Enjoy :)

@@Meowlegend7in fact coin gun is better than coin gun due to its range and can be obtained as soon as you get into hardmode, does a lot of damage, is a unique weapon, has different types of ammunition that can be obtained any time, just build a quick money farm and you're set. Zenith on the other hand is post moon Lord, which means it's gonna be useless when you finish the game, if you actually start killing empress of light day time post ml shows that you have a massive skill issue.

Temple pots contain a cracked amount of cash for early game, could've painstakingly gotten 10-30 gold just by looting them.
Really like this kind of video style! Its still calming yet exciting, its a good mix of not being over the top while still maintaining the viewers attention. Would love to see more! :D

I never got those weird self imposed challenges or playthroughs, but as long as you're having fun and your fans enjoy it, can't complain :)

I'd have used my blade of grass to cheese king slime or something before tackling the eater. OR farm the eye of cthulhu to sell for a bunch more gold, just to garuntee an easier eater fight. OR I'd have chosen the crimson since true melee-ing the brain is easier than the eater.

Eater of Worlds almost definitely picked up the gold coins you dropped. Developer oversight.
edit 9:04 yep. You can see the particles.
The copper and silver coins are dropped upwards, but the gold stays near the ground, presumably indicating that it is in the process of being claimed, and it is taken as the 5th segment of the Eater passes your irreperably mangled corpse.

this is a reference from the game: the binding of Issac: rebirth. An item in game is called “Money=power” and your damage is increased every cent you have.
so.. basically it is basically just how quiclly you can get to hardmode for the crystal dupe

3:19 I have not tested this but according to the wiki ANY HAMMER breaks those orbs. Remember this before you blow yourself up.
Also not useful here but buy purification powder from the driad and then you can mine through to the stone.
Just imagine how much damage you do with the coin gun if you have 9999 platinum + this mod

I know this is old but it hurt SO MUCH seeing you not space the npcs apart for the extra happiness. You could have made so much more money from the demonite and shields that way.
