I have to say, in the beginning of the Kardashians’ quest for fame, I was NOT on board with what they were selling (themselves). However, as the years have gone by, I’ve seen that these women actually seem to treat others with respect, and they really do keep hustling. Some of their business ventures have been shady af, but I have to say that they aren’t just famous for being famous anymore. They are famous for actually doing things - mostly related to fashion - which is more than can be said for a lot of other nepobabies. It has been a super interesting ride to see them change their reputation from trashy sex tape and velour tracksuits to actual fashion icons. They def still slip up and pull some stupid stunts, but they have really taken the Kardashian/Jenner brand from drab to fab. It’s pretty impressive.
For anyone curious: The reason why you don't see a lot of celebrities wearing Dolce & Gabbanna is because they have a long history of racism and homophobia. Frankly I'm surprised Kim chose yet ANOTHER problematic fashion brand after Balenciaga's recent blunder. Even more surprising, in 2018 Steffano Gabbanna made an instagram comment that was quickly deleted that said the Kardashians were "the most cheap people in the world"... so for Kim to do a collab is interesting. In the end, if any of you have the means to support D&G and have been inspired by this video, please do your research into the horrible and VERY PUBLIC things this company has done before buying. Personally, I do not recommend supporting them in any way.

I promise you, you will never go back once you see what you can do. I also buy a lot from thrift that I make over or re-use components from, which saves time and money, too - not every garment has to be constructed from scratch.
I want to see an entire video of Hope recreating designer pieces on the cheap. Imagine that Kim shirt but instead it’s Leo eating spaghetti 😂. I’m just saying… that would be some successful merch!
They make beautiful clothes but they've had so many scandals and they don't really seem to learn from them. One of them had an absolute meltdown when their Shanghai show was cancelled over allegations one of their ads was racist and called China the most shit country in a social media post. Chinese customers posted themselves burning their clothes. I can't remeber which scandal it was but they sold tshirts thay said boycott D&G after people were angry and said they'd boycott the brand. I think Stefano also called Selena Gomez ugly in an Instagram comment on her page

I'm old enough to remember 90s fashion (born in 82 so basically a fossil).. anyway I think the deal with those jeans actually comes from a little phase of hippie revival. I remember my mom showing me how to cut a slit up the side of a regular pair of jeans and add a triangle of fabric (usually floral print) to make bell-bottoms. Aka flares, for you young folx. So I think they were going for a little hippie-grunge mashup with that item. Fun!! Love u and Leo and Tyler! Xoxo 😘

I'm definitely feeling inspired by the DIY gloves! I think combining the glue with some strategic stiches would really make it more permanent. Also I think the clip on earrings are a great idea - I'm not sure how heavy the earrings are, but for some people really heavy earrings for pierced ears are uncomfortable to wear and cause a lot of earlobe stretching. By clipping the earrings on, you can have more surface area to hold the weight. I also like the idea of potentially hanging them from a different part of the ear? Maybe? Like clipping it to the top front of the ear and having glitzy sideburns that frame your face?

Dolce & Gabbana is soooo problematic and have been for years. I really wish celebrities would stop working with them. They shown patterns of racist, homophobic, misogynist, and all-together crude behavior!!!

I know you said you don't know anything about the brand, but do a little research, not being angry or anything but is not a cool brand to support, the brand is very problematic (Racism and Homophobia) .They are doing these collabs with the Kardashians to clean their image, but they never took accountability for their problems and the people that said all those things are still working with the , they didn't change anything just stay quiet for a while then came back like nothing happened.

The fact that you bought from a brand that is SOOOOO controversial saddens me. The brand USED to be nice fashion wise and relevant back in the 90's but HOW can we still encourage a brand who's homophobic, transphobic ans whos directors are bullies online.
