It's not the jokes it's the tonal delivery that could take it to the next level.
I think he'll get better and better with that in time, I can definitely see the roots of greatness there.
This is why Robin Williams was so great. His pacing of his jokes and all the voices he could do made his jokes so great.

I've been following Mark for years on Schmoes and Collider. This was my first time watching Mark do stand-up and it was absolutely phenomenal! I was laughing so hard from start to finish.
The Sharks and Dolphins joke was perfect.

The real crime here is that it took this long for this man to get an hour special... Mark Ellis you killed it! Not only an awesome human being but fucking hilarious! This is the first of many my friend, sit back and enjoy this ventured you have busted your ass for!
I saw his special live in-person and it was amazing! I am glad it's available online now so that I can share my joy and experience to all my friends and family cause Mark Ellis is hilarious!
There seems like a pretty hard cut, editing wise, at the 10 minute mark after he mentions rent. Was that a funny joke? I've loved the special so far.

I have watched Mark Ellis on You Tube (Schmoes Know, Collider and SEN). My favorite times were always when there would be a certain look in Ellis's eyes and he would go off on a story that would reduce me to hysterical happy tears. He still has it. Thank you to All Things Comedy for providing a platform for Mark Ellis' set. Writing and setting up an act is not a 24-hour job, but I would love to see more Ellis soon. We all need that kind of humor in our lives.

Mark Ellis is a rockstar. This special is the best i've ever seen from a comedian. I'm amazed @Schmoedown Entertainment Network can handle his jokes. They're a weapon and will leave people laughing for hours. Lesson learned, don't pick the kitchen.

@@tobymcgroby8967 I have also just assumed that watching whole ads gives channels more, but I'm not 100% sure... I think I remember some TH-camr mentioning it a few years ago. And the Christmas cancer ad was Swedish, because that's how we roll...
@@catwmn2345 I had some free time so I just looked it up, a couple sites said the same thing as this:
"On TH-cam a view is counted when someone watches 30 seconds of your video ad ( or the duration if it's shorter than 30 seconds) or interacts with the ad, whichever comes first."
So we don't need to watch the full ads! I hope this saves you from that Swedish xmas cancer ad, or the "I'm just here in my garage" types too. I HATE that guy lmao, we get it, he likes books
