22:15 They were not BMing. That was the most convoluted way to heal a Mew possible, but it worked, he switched a 60 hp Mew for a 130hp Mew. Actually really smart.
No shot this works consistently. Though I'd love to see you try Druddigon Greninja. It's a great tank to set up Greninja and Bruxish on the bench then pick them off with water shuriken. I run 2 Blue for damage mitigation
I'm also running Alakazam Hypno with Mystic Slab to punish Celebi. Easy 180+ damage and it handles the Serperior if needed too. Only problem is if they run Exeggutor ex.
I also cooked with druddigon greninja its so solid. Cut any other lines so I just have 4 basics to make it consistent. Seems decent into pikachu as well.
Druddigon is so good for everything that tries to build up on the bench without specific support. I tried it with pidgeot ex and it's very good. The 3 colorless even allows you to play fire/water without disadvantage
Same here, and that's actually the deck I've had the more victories with. I run only 1 Pidgey to consistently draw druddigon tho The neat thing is how this becomes almost a guaranteed win against Mewtwo EX, even if they get Gardevoir
So happy to see this video man! I honestly had no idea you'd make an entire thing over my deck recommendation but I'm so happy you did! Thanks for the shoutout and as always keep up the great content dude! Looking forward to what comes next!
I have been trying to use this deck since I got my 2nd druddigon dupe, but I'm still not convinced on not running fire energies for the dragon claw, it makes the deck better but more RNG dependent.
Thank you for showing me this deck. I just won 3 games with it and it is so much fun to use! I don't have expeditoner so I replaced it with Blue, and I was thrilled when an opposing Blane decks Magmar had to hit druddigon 3 times to KO it.

@@pyrateraccoon8553 Yeah, fairy type was introduced to the tcg in the xy and era but got removed during the swsh era since the designers thought that there were just too many types to feasibly come up with unique cards for. Now all of the fairy type Pokémon have been folded into the psychic type going forwards, and we might not see those rose-coloured cards every again. Just got my 45 wins w this deck! I didn’t have any sabrinas also. So much fun to figure out how to build dragonite, its a lot of RNG but it takes a lot of work to get there so it feels good getting the W
Man these cuts in the editing are rough. I love the decks, but if I'm going to watch gameplay of matches with the deck in action I'd rather watch it without a jarring cut every few seconds. Makes it annoying, if not actually difficult, to follow at times.
I honestly think Druddigon is even better in Greninja decks. Rough skin + Water Shuriken means you don't need to do much damage to pick off powerful EX's that get KO's on Druddigon, and Druddigon's high HP buys plenty of time to set up Greninja evolutions and energy on a strong water or fire attacker provided most of their energies are colorless. Personally the deck I've been running is Druddigon + Greninja + Flareon. Flareon only needs one fire energy to do 110 damage with flamethrower, and flamthrower being a fire attack that does 110 is just enough to OHKO Celebi w/ Celebi's fire weakness. Plus, rough skin + water shuriken chip is enough to guarantee a KO on EX Mewtwo as well. The damage breaks are just really really good on this team into a lot of meta teams. Full deck list: - 2x Druddigon - 2x Froakie - 2x Frogadier - 2x Greninja - 2x Mythical Island Eevee - 2x Flareon - 2x Professor's Research - 2x Pokeball - 1x X Speed - 1x Leaf - 1x Sabrina - 1x Potion
I m currently playing druddigon + Mew deck. Only Fire and water Energy and no psychic Energy. With Blue druddigon does not get killed by opponent mew + Giovanni, and he deals tons of damage with dragon claw. When he dies u simply finish up with mew. The new supporter Is also useful being a Koga for Mew, enabling u to take an almost dead Mew back and put a druddigon in frontline. I am loving this deck for now. Super strong against Pikachu, Mewtwo, Mew and Charizard decks. Its main weakness is Celebi and some very fast starmie decks.
i ended up dropping drudge and just using mewEX as a wall and its pretty good, with the drudge's its was just to inconsistent getting drat from the pokeballs.
can I ask why Druddigon is better than Kangaskhan here? is it just because Kangaskhan requires an energy to do damage? to me it seems like its a lot easier for the opponent to play around a druddigon
For me the big thing is retreat cost and the fact that you don't have to invest any energy to start putting damage on the board, so your energies can start going to dratini right away. That said, I see your point. I've seen a lot of people suggesting Druddigon + Greninja in the comments but, having tried it a few times, I feel like Weezing/Koga is still more useful
Hey big man, love the videos, but just wanted to give some feedback. The cuts are a little egregious in this vid especially. You cutting that winning attack against the Mewtwo deck on your penultimate match specifically kinda reuined the vibe. But other than that keep up the great content.
Would this not just average 20 damage a turn off of 100 health, vs Kang offering 30 damage a turn off of 100 health? I guess you save 1 energy but you trade that for 1 shot potential vs basics
If it’s not mew or celebi. Then it doesn’t matter. I have to wait… to setup 3 energies of 2 different energy types? While the opponent can use mythical slab, budding expeditioner and gardi. And that’s just mew meta.
I was running this but with polygon this is definitely more consistent though because you don’t have to build up druddigon. Also lol you calling them pay to winners is exactly how I feel when I see paid items
that guy you fought first using celebi had one brain cell just thinking buying great cards win matches , he literacy threw a match he had 90% + chance of winning
Dragonite has consistency issues and takes too long to set up. Celebi by turn 4 will shred most games vs you. Not to mention all of the Jynx/Zam counter decks running around
