- Destiny 2 Lightfall - Solo Crota Raid Boss / Solo Crota, Son of Oryx Finisher Glitch / Solo Crotas End Raid Final Boss Crota Encounter in CE Destiny 2. Just a quick video showing a solo clear of the Crota boss in the repised Crota's End raid. Details and timestamps below. Builds and glitch are shown at the end of the video.
It's Solo Insurrection Prime all over again. Obviously not a legit clear, but it's about all we're likely to get unless another crafting bug occurs, or solo enlightened is ever figured out.
Now it's just to see if there's anything new reset, and waiting for Lords of the Fallen.
Tips: A lot of people asking, so here's some things that may help.
Timing / position: You want Crota to be between you and the enemy, ideally facing towards the edge of the map you want to launch them. You want to use the finisher when Crota isn't slamming, or right before / as he's just started slamming you. It can work at other times and positions, but I found those to be the most consistent.
FPS doesn't matter. I've seen it done at 30-60, and I had over 200 while I did it on both runs.
Finisher may or may not matter. Titan default, Scythe, and Valkyrian Impale I know work for sure. Try one of those.

@@Abeanontheroad, they're just trying to be a butt, that's all. I've come to expect it on TH-cam, especially (and unfortunately) on Eso's channel. Every single time I've ever commented on one of his videos, somebody has felt the need to act out. I guess you could think of it as a hobby of theirs. Or as an act of cowardice, hiding behind a keyboard and being toxic. Because as you've said, I am indeed a real person (thank you for that). I'm also a very well-connected person with lots of life experience and contacts in the government, so additionally, I can be very dangerous if provoked. To those who still having trouble with this cheese, make sure to use exact exotic as showned (Stronghold). When running to the knight at the tower, guard with sword and and let Crota hit you with his range attack to stack up Perfect Guard buff x100. After that kill the knight (to get restoration x2 for 20+ seconds which is a big deal) then run towards Crota, and put on barricade (to blind the knight when they walk into it), run to the front and make sure use finisher on the knight behind Crota (that's the important part). Make sure you keep your eye on the restoration buff timer, when it reach around 5 sec throw healing grenade it will extend it back to 20 seconds. Once the restoration almost finish from the grenade, then use super, that will extend the survivability for long time giving you all the time you need. Remember to guard with sword to get the Perfect Guard x100, kill the knight so that you get restoration x2 for 20s. Ow and use Titan default finisher, dont use any other finisher. I've done it couple of times already, just need to get a hang of it.

The finisher didn't yeet him, it was the lunge animation. The finisher has to have a lunge in order to work & the ad still needs to be behind him. It took a while for me to get it to work (almost 20 minutes) but it's stupid easy even on master.
can this be replicated with any other finisher ?
@@rohanjosem I've done it with focused fist, resonant lunge, & swing of the scythe. I'm trying with shield slam now. It takes to long to get CPs to try anymore.

@@louisromero2320 yeah, but its stupid hard compared to the others. The shield can hit Crota too & only bounce him back a bit. So you have to get the positioning right.

Tried this so many times and have everything just right but Crota stays adjacent to the boomer tower on the right (facing from the balcony) the whole time and doesn’t move to the Knights and the barricade. I’ve tried it where he’s staying put and I get splattered far too quickly.

It doesn’t appear to be the hit that launches Crota but rather the momentum of the player lunging to close the distance to perform the finisher that does it.
