Hey dude, just wanted to say thanks for these videos. Convinced me to try a shaman rather than a warlock next week. There is a real lack of good content for wow that isnt obnoxious and/or too much info/way too long and you are the best I have seen that doesn't fall into those tropes! Keep it up.

I still vaguely remember elemental shamans absolutely destroying people in BGs towards the end of Vanilla WoW (around the time that Naxx got released). And this video reinforced my perception of how broken they were. They can 2-shot people over and over again from range; and they can heal, break CC, slow the entire enemy team, and kite like crazy. I challenge anyone to name a more powerful class/spec in random battlegrounds.
This makes me excited for pvp with my Ele Shammy in classic.

Watching these videos instead of queuing for hours to log into Classic (EU). Made the mistake of going afk too long and getting a nice fat disconnect. Ah well, at least it'll be a little more stable for me tomorrow.

Instead of feral, try decking out a balance druid in all caster cloth. Use the starfire ns build.
@Patrick Bateman poisons won't scale with spell damage nor it should work in any pserver. It was changed in early vanilla.

So I have a quick question. When it comes to PvP. Is it better to focus all mail gear? I am playing classic now and am getting close to end game but have noticed the gear cloth and leather gear typically seems to have more plus damage than the mail gear. So my question is it better to take mail gear with the reduced bonus damage for more armor or is it better mix in some leather/cloth for higher bonus damage?

I predict ele shams will have the largest drop in activity over the first few months. Many that get to 60 will quit because ele is semi garbo without good gear, others will quit because they can't find a raid spot =P
do you know how to fix this werid camera bug where the camera spins around like crazy? it happens to you also all the time and loosing orientation is really bad

this is the shit ive been waiting for. Any chance you are gonna make a gearing guide for classic? I plan to heal in raids and ele for pvp personally. I think it would also be interesting to know what skills you consider must binds and the ones that you dont bother having hotkeyed

I enjoy this so much more than your enhancement videos.
They are always so underwhelming inherent to the spec's design.
Elemental is visually pleasing, big numbers, awesome CL sound.
Enhancement on the other hand feels like a pre level 40 class which does not have its full toolkit yet.
Thanks! I disagree! Enhance is very viable and can be played at a high skill cap. It just comes down to a ranged class and a melee class.

I am starting classic next week after my finals. 100% playing a shaman. You are my role model in this game. I have one question tho, should I play Tauren or Orc. Want to go into PvP mostly. Love the Tauren, but many people tell me Orc is way better for PvP. What do you think? Does it make this big of a difference? Is the 25% resist better than warstomp + higher HP?
Both Tauren and Orc are really good. It sounds like you want to play Tauren, so you should play Tauren!

Both are pretty incredible tbh. Decide whether you like melee or ranged gameplay better. They have awesome tools for both chasing and kiting

Awesome videos man. Are you always dropping top ranked totems or sometimes lower rank to conserve mana? In your honest opinion will elemental shaman be this viable in classic considering the average player may not be able to get that gear?
Yes to everything. I drop lower rank on specific totems, not for mana but for other secret reasons.

a few things annoy me, why 2 ranks of grounding and earthbind, why no improved earthbind totem as elemental? why no combo of HWL/tier 2 set bonuses for more overall crit?
Multiple spells on my bars are for cooldown tracking. No imp EB because there are better talents. If you need a ranged slow, you frostshock. 20% increased radius isn't game changing to me. HWL gear has far more stamina and armor than t2, plus aesthetics. The set bonus from t2 is great, I want more survive as apposed to more damage.
Executus Gaming idk if it does, I tried your gear vs 5 piece tier 2 and ended up with 100 less hp and mana, and 3% less armor with 2% extra nature crit. ty for the answers on the rest
I notice that you always play Orc for Shaman. Wouldn't it be better with Tauren due to war stomp? Or is the 25% stun resistance better?
Alex Barbier 25 stun resist is more useful in pvp. Tauren is cool if you also wanna do some tanking.

Hey dude, Very nice video. I have decided to roll a shaman on the classic servers, i will chance to elemental when i hit 40. since im only interested in pvp/gold making. I will go with mining+engineering as profession. when im max engineering. what secound profession should i go for to make the most gold? keep mining? and just switch between mining/fishing?. really torn here :O
If you're only interested in pvp, you will never have a properly geared ele sham lol. The only way ele works is with BIS pve raiding gear, and good luck finding a raid that will take you =P. Ele is mostly a dream that only the most connected neck beards will experience.

Mind me asking how well of an ele would I be in zg set/bloodvine with hand of Edward?
For PvP? Bloodvine really isnt advisable, because lots of survivability comes from wearing mail. However in ZG you get quite a few great mail elemental items such as Augurs Hauberk and most of the pieces in general.
Hand of Edward is obviously pretty nice in 1v1, because often you will find yourself in melee range anyways against good warriors and rogues using engineering.
For teamfights a +healing mace and +sp mace are recommended when you stay in the back nuking targets.

Pretty well, but consider wearing Mail gear in PvP, not cloth gear.
Great vid, curious to pick your brain on talents. I’m less inclined to take reverberation and more keen on taking earths grasp and convection. Thoughts?
Reverberation is more of an Enhance build. You need those 5 talent points for fire totems. Convection is ok, always do the math and see if the mana saved is worth it.

Very cool video! I was wondering why don't you use Bloodrage. Or am I mistaken?
Guess you mean Blood Fury? Because it just gives an attack power buff based on base atp from strength. It also gives you a 50% healing reduction debuff for 25 sec. So you gain a small amount of pretty much useless attack power and gimp your survivalbility with it; not exactly brilliant for any caster dps ^^
