Hi there, I noticed the plane had no USB port on the seat, it’s unusual to see a virgin Australia 737-800 with no USB port. Can I have explanation? Thanks
Hi! Maybe you’ve just been lucky with your flights, but the vast majority of VA’s 737s do not have USB ports, however as mentioned in this video the plane I flew on is one of few that does have them.
I flew on VH-YIS the other week which also has the split scimitar winglets from Queenstown to Sydney, it was a nice flight however there were no USB ports and the in flight entertainment didn't work.

Keep up with your good work but I am old school pre deregulation days two airline policy days great service with TAA and Ansett that you have not experienced. On board sales hate with Virgin Australia and the name wish they went bust. AN and TN were the best domestic and QF International with B707 -338C and B747-238B. But TE Air New Zealand were better with DC-8- 52 and DC-10-30 service was super. Simpler times and I respect you I have to unsubscribe. Ansett 727.

Air travel in your era is cheap and common and boring and subject matter with mass trip reports on TH-cam well it is boring just like 5 day a week bus and tram trip to school and being late for morning muster! Over 40 years ago+.... I had a student pass for 50% discount First Class and Economy with Ansett and TAA 1981 we flew and we had great service. The industry that you are exposed in 2024 is very common and mass transit just like a bus, tram or train with cancellations well say no more. Yes I am old school. What its is like having a Swissair DC10-30 ER at Bangkok Airport transit cleaning cabin 1986 days walking down the rear door left 4 stairs and JVC tape going I have it! Trunk route domestic jet travel with TAA and Ansett fleet size were each in general 12 727-200 and 12 DC9-31 each plus 727 -100 series in 1980 days two airline policy same fares parallel scheduling it was normal but weird who taxi out and take off first! Monitoring Air traffic control at the the time just the rego was transmitted oh so handy, Ansett 727.
