Hiscock and Chivo on the mythical 1100 'Black Piper' homologation special. Wire wheels/wider rims, VM32SS carbs, cams, big-bore mufflers ala Katana SXZ... which is why the mufflers and outer header pipes are black, and the inner cylinders (2 & 3) are chrome.
I beat Croz in one of those. he dropped it in the middle S's. Actually purchased one of my GSXR's off him a couple of years ago..He hasn't changed and is a great adversary for the sport to this day.
Kiwi’s as usual fighting above their weight .. compared to Oz it’s small country , with a small population .. but play with big hearts. you have to give it to them. 👊

Mansfield is so commercialised now, that its no longer a riders and spectators track. Used to love racing there.
