My Great Uncle died on the Laurentic 25th January, 1917. He was Fireman Arthur Charles Hodges, and is buried in St. Mura's Church, Upper Fahan, County Donegal, Ireland.
My Grandfather sailed to America in January 1910 on this "new" vessel. It is weird watching this but thank you for an unusual pleasure. Have any modern divers ever recovered any of the lost gold bars from the wreck?

My Mothers uncle emigrated to New York in January 1910 on this ship, his wife followed with the children 1 month later .
