Do the Gator Freighters have any integral amphib projection? Can they do an amphib assault on their own or do they have to have seperate Marine detachments loaded?
The "Gator Freighters" do not have any organic ship-to-shore capability. They have the "Amphibious Assault (Naval)" capability which allows them to deploy ground units with "Amphibious Assault (Ground)" capability directly into combat on land from sea (with the associated bonus for units like Marines). Additionally they have "Flight Operations 1", allowing them to operate a single unit with the "Naval Aviation" capability. This may include a helicopter, a unit of Air Cav helicopter borne infantry, or (with optional/ variant rules) VTOL/ short take-off aircraft. Otherwise they cost 6 IPP, move up to 3 sea zones per turn, have no attack dice, and one defense dice. Cheers.
Good job. Give those dice 5-10 at Leavenworth.
