I so miss Singapore. Weve been heading there every year for a decade. Originally planned to fly to SG to see how I coped with the travel then fly on to Australia. In the end we ended up falling in live with SG. Tk this day we haven't even considered flying on to Australia. Cant wait to return! 🏴 ✈ 🇸🇬
I loved this video and I think you should do more of these. People would love to see it and these agents would def pay you to help them! Only thing I feel sad about is that the shop houses are all stripped and turned into minimalistic white walled places. It looks so charming from the outside but all of what makes it unique feels lost on the inside (even if that's what expats and modern people want nowadays)
@@TrashSmile that's kind of sad in a way. I feel that the architectural history is also part of a country's soul and is what makes a country remember it's roots
Great video! would Cove be able to do co-living apartments that is more affordable in the range of $800 - $1000? I think it would be a great hit for locals between the age of 28-35 where we're ready to move out of our parents' place :)
East Coast... dont forget the beach. There are tons of condos facing the sea opposite East Coast Beach. For the sporty who can have daily morning commute along East Coast Parkway and through Gardens By the Bay and Marina Barrage and to CBD. Bored and stuck with playing tennis? Gey a bike. Pick up road cycling. Many expat groups cycling on weekends. Cycling is the new golf! 😁
how long does it take to move to Singapore permanently also how much are your bills a month I know it depends but is there a ball park range like 3200-3600
wow, the places you visited look really beautiful! I wanted to ask though, since a lot of rentals in Singapore range between 1k to 5k SGD, how much monthly or yearly salary should you aim for if you want to rent a condo or a shophouse or a co-living space?
One way many young expats get a more affordable rates (less than 1k) are getting roommates. You can go check them out via the numerous expat grps in FB. Similarly you can also rent a room. Geylang has a few condos that have dual key arrangements. These are apartments where the guest rooms are purposely built to have their own entrances. They go at the rate of a room but allows you privacy without having to walk through ur landlords area.
Officially yes and especially if you rent directly from the landlord. But the govt has closed an eye on airbnb type contracts in private apartments (not public housing). Also these arrangements are usually only for a room and has a nber of special requirements from the landlord. So its possible but not common.
If you like to open the windows all the time or even just occasionally ... you'll get lizards coming in and sharing your apt with you. Almost a certainty if you live on a Low floor or cook often. Expect 3 to 5 extra housemates. Eeeechhh.
Airbnb is not legalised in Singapore since public housing would require a min stay of at least 6 mths and privte housing 3 mths. Still there are owners who may rent it out on the sly.
Airbnb is not legal but the govt has said they will close one eye when it comes to private properties (non govt housing). But there are many limitations set by the government to the landlords, so there are airbnb units but not alot and also mostly room rentals. Also from my experience generally condos where there is already high amt of expats renting. Their prices are not that cheap either. Based on the experience of my expat colleagues that come here for 1 to 2 months for work, the only benefit of these airbnb units are that they are avaliable at locations where there are no hotels. (I used to work in an MNC where our work site is far from town)
***Beautiful Video ❤️ I think the pandemic and economic crisis have taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean financial security. I really appreciate the transparency and giving people a fighting chance during these troubling times.

How is Geylang in terms of dodginess? I know a lot of people avoid staying there due to it being a red light district, eventhough accomodations are cheaper.
The red light aspect of the place is now reduced to very niche areas. In general geylang is safe and nice to live in with some of the best food avaliable.
Yep, defs miss having an oven 😅 have managed to make hot chips and pizza in my tiny toaster oven tho 😋👍🏻 I live in Clementi (cause work way out West at NTU) and I love it, v heartland and chill 😊
I been watching you for a couple of months. You have great potential and please consider these as inputs how to make your videos better. When you do transitions, make them longer and have a short intro. I noticed you tend to jump from a place to place. i actually find highways super relaxing. of course, when you don't live super close to it that you hear everything. but the subtle noise and viewing of it is so peaceful to me.
The view is going to change drastically soon when the two cargo terminals cease operations and the land them currently occupy is redeveloped as part of the Greater Southern Waterfront. th-cam.com/video/LrjnV1jPs1E/w-d-xo.html

Singapore really does have some very nice looking apartments, for a country that doesn’t have much free land space to build houses, it’s impressive.👍
your content is so refreshing!! so interesting and new even for singaporeans
thank you :)

I lived in Singapore for 6 years …just moved to Milan and I miss Singapore 🇸🇬:(
Okay this made me laugh "Singapore is currently under construction, everywhere" 😂😂 ♥️ - sometimes it feels like it's a never ending project.
Yeah, that's how Singapore keeps everything moving, and kinda prestine, but at the same time, we loose some of our historical heritage.
@@TrashSmile that's kind of sad in a way. I feel that the architectural history is also part of a country's soul and is what makes a country remember it's roots
The shop house is lovely , perfect for a newbie
great isn't it!
is it just me or is paolo adorable?
The back alleys are the best part of Geylang! I stay in Geylang in a shophouse too in a beautifully done-up studio. Cove is really expensive though!
I'm looking for a room right now! where should I look?
Geylang great place for restaurants the back alleys are pretty this area has long been a Chinese redlight area for decades. even opium dens etc

River Valley... Robertson Quay... East Coast - Families, Dakota - Singles.
Oh yeah..nice to have you in Singapore, hope you enjoy it..have a nice day
Best video ever thankyou so much it helped me a lot 😊
When I was in SG the rental options looked quite different. Basically 3 choice, common room, master room, or condo.
CBD area on weekend is slightly quieter than weekday. Especially in the morning.
Would be good to sleep in for more peace in weekend.

I understand that govt. regulations require a minimum of three months rental for a condo. Is this correct?

Diversification of Investments is really a great idea for multiple streams of income.
That's true. I invest in stocks, Forex trading and Real Estate and I'm making good profits from them. I always encourage Investments.
I had interest in Forex trading and Stocks, but I was discouraged after I lost over $11,000 doing that on my own😔
