And he understands he will outlast every single mortal being and the majority of cosmic ones, so while he is angry for being imprisoned, it is not because he might never be free, but because his pride is wounded and he cannot continue his passion. All of this means that Runeterra's future is decided by him and its people would be very lucky if his wrath is focused only on Targon.
