Zhang zhe han is quite genius. It was like he was a co director in this drama. The way he planned of Yun Xi jump hug going viral and becoming the original signature of the drama was brilliant. I have watched some other dramas copying this move but well it was true if the original was for YunXi. And Zhang Zhe Han was the mastermind...unbelievable. He did actions nearly without stunts and he could interpret about the character awesomely, also could think what the viewer would about the character. And he loved the comments. lol. Truly genius. The one I still miss is that he rarely sang the ost of his drama and movie. I heard his cover in legend of yunXi ost and his voice there was perfect, too bad the production crew did not pair them to sing the song as a duet.

Accidentally came across 云兮传 lately. I am surprised with the quality of Chinese drama and the talent of this actor. The making of Chinese dramas has improved tremendously over the years. Yes, love this show very much. This actor (张哲瀚) is very humble and talented (could tell from his sharing in the interview). Didn’t feel like he is acting the character 秦王, instead, I feel like he is 秦王 himself. Way to go, 张哲瀚! You make me switched from watching Korean drama to Chinese drama. 😊

ZZH has a perfect balance when it comes to acting his character Feiye. Ju Jing Ji is fantastic as Yunxi. The chemistry between these 2 professionals is electric and mesmerizing. Sometimes being subtle, the innuendo that makes his character intriguing and distant also makes him a powerful force to recon with and intimidating. It is very hard to command a presence, then be all that and more. You can see in other shows where others try too hard, yet ZZH has a perfect balance already with Ju Jing Ji. You have to really pay attention to his eyes, a subtle look that only lasts a second, so many subtle gestures plus sometimes the lack of gestures and looks, that really show his acting prowess and command of the scenes. As for the ability to know and understand the dynamics of the scenes, plus how important it was for Feiye to converse with Xifeng, a closer confidante and guard, rather than domineering every conversation, that is a great actor who can envision all the characters and make the show stronger, giving up what is his to improve the overall outcome of the program. It endears me more to his professionalism, the way he finds a better way to handle the scenes to get a better end result for all, rather than just his character alone. The chemistry between him and others is amazing. His character is a loner with extremely few people he absolutely trusts. It appears to be 7 close confidantes. It seems he deems it not necessary to need any more than that in the character's life. He commands and keeps his distance. He spent most of his life fighting on a front line. He is only 20 years old in the show. So he has a challenge adapting to societies demand to have people with drama all around his. Therefore the distance. The marriage was arranged, and looks are the only first impressions, since they are under the Gaitou red veil, and it is lifted by the man with a Cheng Gan stick, to see the girl under the covering. So to have been known by everyone to be ugly because of a carbuncle face mark, she really gave no thought to her marriage other than an escape from a bad family life, with a hope of a new beginning that would be better than the abuse she left. He treated her the same so she knew nothing else than distance, untrusting, and aloof treatment. So she saw that she could be of assistance but just do her own thing until he found out who her mother was. That was a game changer. Not to mention the fact that their first encounters were life threatening, since he held a sword to her after saving her on the mountain cliff while falling, plus the wedding night holding her in a chokehold. Not real endearing traits in a husband. But it is all about timing and deception. He was fighting at the top of the cliff and here she is, harvesting rare Shenyou Grass off the side of the cliff. Also she incapacitated him with a poison powder, steals his book he stole, and gets away with assistance from Gu Qishao in the Hidden Ghost Valley. That was surprising to him he let his guard down and she bested him. Then they used her as a face mask to cover the spy on the roof Yu Ze, which made him think she was in cahoots with the others in the Hidden Ghost Valley. Not endearing her to him any faster. Plus she also is kinda recruited as a spy for the Empress, who wants to expose Feiye for not being a prince but a replacement, and a Gu abetted man, which they are not sure of without Yunxi discovering informationin a trade for her mother who actually died years before but no one tells her positively that her mom died falling off a cliff saving Feiye as a child. This topic is still dividing the couple rather than strengthening them. In the time they spend crossing paths, Feiye finds out she is just really naive, has no understanding of love, is desperate to be loved when she lets someone near, that she really cares for him but does not know how to show it, and really thinks that Gu Qishao is her friend instead of a spy. She is not dating him, but he sure is trying to date her since he overheard her talking to the bunny about her hardships. She just really thinks he is being nice like a girl friend, plus, since she is starved for attention, she likes it to be gushed on and the center of his attention. Yunxi has no idea how to handle jealousy, so it drives her to seek attention elsewhere. When intoxicated with alcohol, which causes less pain mentally because she is foggy, she compromises her own aloofness and control of her feelings, literally jumping on him and dragging him off to do things she dares not imagine as a result of her jealousy, all of which was ZZH ideas for how the acting should be directed. That is when he sees she does care deeply, and this is more than just an arranged marriage. She is beautiful after she is no longer poisoned by her father but has no idea she is a sight to behold, that she has been treated horribly in the past by her whole family but yearns for the love she once had from her lost mother she keeps searching for, and he is more than a means of escape from her previous life. Then he begins to care for her, yet circumstances keeps doubt and jealousy alive in his heart, she had already become used to turning to her friend for attention when things get bad. Even when she asks Feiye to join her for the lantern festival, the fans understood he takes a bath between 7 and 9 every night. That was a funny point fans made. Although Gu Qishao is a spy, trying to get information from Yunxi to destroy the entire royal empire, he really has feelings for her and wants her to be treated much better than she is, so he fixates on Feiye, trying to destroy their relationship. Feiye knows his intentions, but is not sure how naive Yunxi is about the depth of her relationship with Gu Qishao, plus how much he hurts her, which then causes her to run to Gu Qishao because he does comfort her, which she yearns for. It is challenging for actors to keep this all in context and be able to consistently deliver continuity while they film bits and pieces of the shown especially if they shoot out of order. I admire actors as they have such daunting conflicts to resolve and such long days filming. These tv shows have very long days of shooting, they are produced so fast, that it is mesmerizing and amazing how exceptional the series are. It is truly captivating how great actors take pages of stories in a script and breathe life into these characters to make truly mesmerizing experiences that last in our imaginations and debates for years to come. Such legacies are entertaining for many generations to come. Keep up the good work. It is amazing to experience the expertise involved in creating these tv shows.
I read the original novel and Zhang Zhe Han's portrayal of Long Fei Ye is really good. They changed a lot of things in the original novel but still he gave justice to Long Fei Ye's character. I really admire this man. Hoping to see more of him in the future.

From his interview we can see ZZH is an intelligent actor who understands his character role very well. This is the first time I hear an actor giving away his lines to another actor. I thought actors want their roles to be more meaty and one way is having more lines to speak. But not ZZH. His idea of making Yun Xi jump on him is brilliant . This is the first time I see an actress jumping onto an actor as if she’s a kid. It’s very refreshing especially as it’s repeated about 3 times in the show . So we won’t forget the unique jump. It’s as significant as the Gangnam Style horse riding popularised by the Korean singer Psy.

I've seen a lot of dramas like that. Sometimes, they are so different it makes me wonder if they are the same stories. ^_^

He nailed Long Feiye's character to a tee. It just goes to show how much he understands his character. Long Feiye is affectionately called "Giant Ice Cube" by Han Yunxi and by the fans of the novel so Zhehan being all cold and aloof was just right. 👌💕
ZZH is very creative and truly provide a lot of ideas to the drama especially having the character Yun Xi jumping on Fei Ye when she hugs him. I love all the scenes with Yun Xi jumping on Fei Ye... that’s how she gained his affection and unconditional love for her. You have to really pay attention to his eyes, a subtle look that only lasts a second, so many subtle gestures plus sometimes the lack of gestures and looks, that really show his acting prowess and command of the scenes. As for the ability to know and understand the dynamics of the scenes, plus how important it was for Feiye to converse with Xifeng, a closer confidante and guard, rather than domineering every conversation, that is a great actor who can envision all the characters and make the show stronger, giving up what is his to improve the overall outcome of the program. It endears me more to his professionalism, the way he finds a better way to handle the scenes to get a better end result for all, rather than just his character alone. The chemistry between him and others is amazing. His character is a loner with extremely few people he absolutely trusts. It appears to be 7 close confidantes. It seems he deems it not necessary to need any more than that in the character's life. He commands and keeps his distance. He spent most of his life fighting on a front line. He is only 20 years old in the show. So he has a challenge adapting to societies demand to have people with drama all around his. Therefore the distance. The marriage was arranged, and looks are the only first impressions, since they are under the Gaitou red veil, and it is lifted by the man with a Cheng Gan stick, to see the girl under the covering. So to have been known by everyone to be ugly because of a carbuncle face mark, she really gave no thought to her marriage other than an escape from a bad family life, with a hope of a new beginning that would be better than the abuse she left. He treated her the same so she knew nothing else than distance, untrusting, and aloof treatment. So she saw that she could be of assistance but just do her own thing until he found out who her mother was. That was a game changer. Not to mention the fact that their first encounters were life threatening, since he held a sword to her after saving her on the mountain cliff while falling, plus the wedding night holding her in a chokehold. Not real endearing traits in a husband. But it is all about timing and deception. He was fighting at the top of the cliff and here she is, harvesting rare Shenyou Grass off the side of the cliff. Also she incapacitated him with a poison powder, steals his book he stole, and gets away with assistance from Gu Qishao in the Hidden Ghost Valley. That was surprising to him he let his guard down and she bested him. Then they used her as a face mask to cover the spy on the roof Yu Ze, which made him think she was in cahoots with the others in the Hidden Ghost Valley. Not endearing her to him any faster. Plus she also is kinda recruited as a spy for the Empress, who wants to expose Feiye for not being a prince but a replacement, and a Gu abetted man, which they are not sure of without Yunxi discovering informationin a trade for her mother who actually died years before but no one tells her positively that her mom died falling off a cliff saving Feiye as a child. This topic is still dividing the couple rather than strengthening them. In the time they spend crossing paths, Feiye finds out she is just really naive, has no understanding of love, is desperate to be loved when she lets someone near, that she really cares for him but does not know how to show it, and really thinks that Gu Qishao is her friend instead of a spy. She is not dating him, but he sure is trying to date her since he overheard her talking to the bunny about her hardships. She just really thinks he is being nice like a girl friend, plus, since she is starved for attention, she likes it to be gushed on and the center of his attention. Yunxi has no idea how to handle jealousy, so it drives her to seek attention elsewhere. When intoxicated with alcohol, which causes less pain mentally because she is foggy, she compromises her own aloofness and control of her feelings, literally jumping on him and dragging him off to do things she dares not imagine as a result of her jealousy, all of which was ZZH ideas for how the acting should be directed. That is when he sees she does care deeply, and this is more than just an arranged marriage. She is beautiful after she is no longer poisoned by her father but has no idea she is a sight to behold, that she has been treated horribly in the past by her whole family but yearns for the love she once had from her lost mother she keeps searching for, and he is more than a means of escape from her previous life. Then he begins to care for her, yet circumstances keeps doubt and jealousy alive in his heart, she had already become used to turning to her friend for attention when things get bad. Even when she asks Feiye to join her for the lantern festival, the fans understood he takes a bath between 7 and 9 every night. That was a funny point fans made. Although Gu Qishao is a spy, trying to get information from Yunxi to destroy the entire royal empire, he really has feelings for her and wants her to be treated much better than she is, so he fixates on Feiye, trying to destroy their relationship. Feiye knows his intentions, but is not sure how naive Yunxi is about the depth of her relationship with Gu Qishao, plus how much he hurts her, which then causes her to run to Gu Qishao because he does comfort her, which she yearns for. It is challenging for actors to keep this all in context and be able to consistently deliver continuity while they film bits and pieces of the shown especially if they shoot out of order. I admire actors as they have such daunting conflicts to resolve and such long days filming. These tv shows have very long days of shooting, they are produced so fast, that it is mesmerizing and amazing how exceptional the series are. It is truly captivating how great actors take pages of stories in a script and breathe life into these characters to make truly mesmerizing experiences that last in our imaginations and debates for years to come. Such legacies are entertaining for many generations to come. Keep up the good work. It is amazing to experience the expertise involved in creating these tv shows.
I read the original novel and Zhang Zhe Han's portrayal of Long Fei Ye is really good. They changed a lot of things in the original novel but still he gave justice to Long Fei Ye's character. I really admire this man. Hoping to see more of him in the future.

In Behind the scene clips, u might see him as a bit playful and flirty..but anyone noticed?? He was like that wit only the lead female😄 it's actually like wat he said in the interview..he did it to make him closer and easier to be in love wit Yun Xi. Such a pro and smart at the same time. From his interview we can see ZZH is an intelligent actor who understands his character role very well. This is the first time I hear an actor giving away his lines to another actor. I thought actors want their roles to be more meaty and one way is having more lines to speak. But not ZZH.
His idea of making Yun Xi jump on him is brilliant . This is the first time I see an actress jumping onto an actor as if she’s a kid. It’s very refreshing especially as it’s repeated about 3 times in the show . So we won’t forget the unique jump.
It’s as significant as the Gangnam Style horse riding popularised by the Korean singer Psy.
Actually, in the novel, LFY really don't have many lines. And Xifeng really did the most talk in the novel. 😊
@@aimaoren It may be true, but the script in the drama and in the novel might be different. In the drama, it's up to the director and the script writer. It might not be the same as in the book. I've seen a lot of dramas like that. Sometimes, they are so different it makes me wonder if they are the same stories. ^_^

He nailed Long Feiye's character to a tee. It just goes to show how much he understands his character. Long Feiye is affectionately called "Giant Ice Cube" by Han Yunxi and by the fans of the novel so Zhehan being all cold and aloof was just right. 👌💕

ZZH is very creative and truly provide a lot of ideas to the drama especially having the character Yun Xi jumping on Fei Ye when she hugs him. I love all the scenes with Yun Xi jumping on Fei Ye... that’s how she gained his affection and unconditional love for her. You can see how Fei Ye’s character grew less cold as he got closer and fall deeply in love w: Yun Xi
