First of all, happy birthday Tim - and many more. It is truly wonderful to see your brotherly connection (even though you are not actual brothers) the world would do well to follow such sincere and true camaraderie. Thank you so much for such a wonderful video!
Congratulations Tim. First Bark River Knive that is not so good in Batoning but anyway a great birthday present. The only thing I would rather have is the west coast bushcrafter cap. Go on with your videos.
Happy birthday Tim, what a beautiful knife to get as a present. Very good looking handle colours as well as the shape of the blade. Also, I sure would like to have stylish, sharp-looking West coast Bushcrafters kaskett to wear on my trips. But no matter what, keep up having fun with knifes 😁👍🇩🇰🇸🇪
Great Video and knife review!!! I own the Fox River II LT in3V and Iron Wood handle... a great hunting knife. Just the sheath ... i used to cut it when drawing the knife...replaced it with a kydex keep going ... all the best
Thanks a lot!!! Good to hear it works well for you as a hunting knife. Bark River needs to step up their game with knife sheaths. Will do😁💪 all the best to you as well!
Hey guys, another great video! Happy birthday Tim! A wonderful gift! Great knife testing.. Beautiful knife Bark River Fox River II LT, 3V is one of the best steels! I enjoyed it with you, great show and you made me want to eat! In a wonderful landscape and forests everywhere! So, good luck and good health, Skål 🍻 ! 😉🔪👍🌲🌿🍀🥩🔥
Haha thanks a lot!! You will get one next Friday when visiting us😂😁👍 We have planned for you and your daughter a bit of bar hopping in town. Looking forward!!🍻🥳
Please give me a cap and happy birthday. Great video as always and thank you the review of the LT Wright illuminous 5, ended up pulling the trigger on that knife and it is by far my favorite knife now.
I have to say that the Fox river series is one of my favorites!!! the designs are amazing and being Bark River... well we know it is a good knife!!! I want one cap!!! but I do not have any luck!!! any chance you guys might open a web store and maybe we can buy one from there??? Great vid guys. Skal!!!
Thank you very much!! Super happy with this knife! A very special one😁👌. We have discussed your desire for a webshop and we are aiming to open one this year. But before that drop us an email. Skål!!🍻
Another great vid. Looks like you guys are really living the dream. Great knife in the limited edition model. Ps would love one of your hats. Cheers from NZ.
Happy BD! Hope you got a few drinks out of it! Btw, how do you find the quality of the Fox River 2? I used to have 4-5 Bark River knives but I've since sold them all. All of the of the models I've bought last year had some kind of deficiencies that never existed with Bark River in the past, like crooked grind lines, unfinished ricasso with burrs, handle scales not finished and uneven and etc. I don't know if it was just one grinder who's messing up or it's systemic, but the problems were found in all 4 of them, including Alpha Cru-Wear and Bushcrafter 2 3V. I've never had any problems like these in my old Bark River models, like my old Bravo1 and Wilderness Explorer. Anyone else experience anything like this with Bark River lately?
Thank so much!! Had a great party, thanks for asking 😁👍. We can see the same issues on some of our bark river knives. This one, the fox river, is just perfect. Great finish on this one. Maybe something to do that it is a limited edition. But we have seen deficiencies on the bushcrafter 1 (handle wise) and bark river bravo 1.5 has a very slim handle that is quite under dimensioned. Not sure what’s going on. Cheers!!!🍻
Haha you are a knife pro! 👏 And you know your stuff and of course you spotted this right on! It has a g10 handle and we missed that writing in the specs🍻. The quality and final touches couldn’t be better. Makes it extra special you mentioning the rareness of it😁🙏
Have I used my questions quota yet? 😅🤪 I really wonder where you get your wonderful firesteel from. I haven't seen such proper size anywhere, and today mine snapped out of the handle.
Where do you order all the knifes from? I would like to see you giving a talk about that. Not to advertise some shops ahead of others, but I really can't find a good place to get any of the ones you have shown, except the scandi made.
It can be a bit of a search sometimes indeed. Here you got 2 links to both LT wright knives website and bark river knives website with autorized dealers for their knives. Worth checking out👍 barkriverknives.com/?page_id=36 ltwrightknives.com/pages/authorized-dealers
Nice looking knife. But it is too long for a good hunting knife, and somehow unpractical for a bushcraft knife. Fox river Ext-1 is a much better choise for both, having the same drop point blade, just shorter, and a handle from Gunny series. Nevertheless I wish you a lot of fun with new knife 🎉

@westcoastbushcrafters really enjoyed both of your review on the bark river knife what a gift . Oww yes and how does it feel to be 20 years old 😄👍
guys you really have a very rare piece😱. normally the limited editions are with G10 and not Micarta😜
