Facebook messenger unable to open links (instagram or tiktok)

Clear defaults under your default browser settings.
Turn on "open links in external browser"
Update both of your default browser and messenger apps.

@@DaedalusYoung It’s probably because Chrome isn’t the default browser on your device, ex: on iPhones safari is the default one, on Samsung it’s “Samsung internet”.
Using the default browser usually fixes the issue.

@@randomfixes Ok I see. It's fixed some other way though, turned out it wouldn't open Instagram if I wasn't logged in. All I needed to do was to log in my Instagram account and suddenly, Messenger would open links again.
