    Colilert Flashes blue if there's chlorine, correct? Is there a video of this "flash" so it can be identified?

    I've always wondered - Even though the bacteriological sample bottle should be handled according to sanitary procedure, samplers are still touching the lid. Is it advisable to disinfect the exterior surface of the sample bottle in some way before pouring the water into the QT?

    why the colour is changed into yellow when there is present of coliform ?

      Because coliform produces a certain substance that breaks down the reagent (powder) added into the water to another particular substance that shows yellow color.
