    The English / British don't travel? Do not like languages? Try a third of the world colonised and institutions such as Oxford ,Cambridge etc...Heard of Gaelic? Old as Latin and Greek....Please...

      Yeah, they colonised a third of the world and imposed THEIR language onto the colonised people. To such a degree that to this day English is an official language in those former colonies, even though those people often had languages of their own going back hundreds of years. Also "Gaelic" has nothing to do with the "English". In fact for most of their history, the English tried to actively suppress the gaelic languages on the British Isles (think Irish, Welsh, etc.)
      So yeah, Kuhner isn't entirely wrong there.
