I tried to practice extreme minimalism after my mum passed away 7 years ago. But I learned all it did was make the sadness stronger. I had to have my craft stuff and my plushies and my movies and music. I decided my favourite things are good in my life. Seeing your room made me happy because living in emptiness is just a waste of a life. I chose to have a happy place.❤
Aww I think I get what you mean 😥 I always used to avoid spending money on stuff I didn’t “need” but investing in little things that make you happy is totally worth it and shouldn’t make you feel guilty 😊
I recently saw a video of a woman who got rid of almost all of her possessions. Sentimental things. Clutter- okay- but furniture too. She was sitting on the floor of her completely empty living room. To each his own but I could not enjoy sitting on the floor with nothing to look at BY CHOICE.
@@lauraann7816 yes I think we saw the same person. I truly wanted that life because if I don't have stuff then nothing can be taken away from me . But then I decided many people live like that and it's not their choice. I chose not to punish myself any longer.

If it isn't a choice I have empathy. If you chose to sit on a floor, sleep on a floor, and have nothing to look at or no TV to watch etc I think... okay I don't get it.

Your room looks really neat and tidy! Do you have any tips on storing stuffed animals and extra cloth? I tend to buy too much cloth so my room is rather messy!
It’s honestly never this clean but I keep my stuffed animals in bins under my bed and fabric in my drawer. I need to work on organizing my craft drawer though that’s why I didn’t show it haha
