  • Decimalisation has come over the high street, gone are the days of the Beatles, we're bringing in the sounds of the eighties as we've entered the days of Network Southeast services to the Station of Bosnport!
Diesels and electrics rule this era, but still need some servicing, so gone is the old engine shed and goods shed to be turned into a more modern motor depot, and once more the canopy of the station is uplifted into something far more shiny!

Impressive bit of model making that mate. All looks good to me! Wouldn’t be too concerned about any (inevitable) slight imperfections if I were you, they will easily disappear as you weather them a bit. Don’t forget…potentially you’ll be your own worst critic simply because it was you who built them. Scratch building a station canopy is a bold move in my book and you achieved another good result imo. God bless.

Ta very much, and think it's mostly that after I've built it, I then think up a better method of building the thing I just finished heh
But am glad that everyone else is happy with how it's turned out, Cheers again!

Turned out pretty good, all fingers intact I say is a win win! Modern is good too. Ever thought of using white poster board? It is kind of thick.

James - I think you have done a nice job and the canopy looks quite good and was a great idea to convert the layout into the 1980's. You come up with some amazing ideas! Malcolm

Cheers very much, and I think the canopy looks alright for a first (finished) attempt, though will still prob make it into a triangular one in the future since would be easier to build and glaze.
And ta very much, do like to think of something different when I can, though do wish thought of more modular parts for the different eras!

James. Very nicely done. Clever transformation. Have to say I prefer the 30s, but I'm just an old fogey. Pete.

Cheers very much Pete, and did take me a while to work out what to change for this era but worked it out in the end, and do agree the 30s did look much better, might mix and match bits to get something I'm happy with though!
